Surprise! It’s release day for our new single, Wrong Way. ⛔️

This song started with a mistake on the piano. Britt sent a voice memo of her horribly out of tune piano to Melissa, who then asked - what do you feel like when you play the song? It was like running away but laughing the whole time.

Listen everywhere where you stream but also if you feel like sending us a couple cents, purchase it on Bandcamp! Link in bio.

❤️

@melissawimbish - lead vocals
@brittolsenecker - lead vocals & keyboards
@christie_macdonald rhythm guitar
@danryanradiowaves - lead guitar
@ericscottmusic - bass
@j.k.s.o.n.i.c - drums

Melody Easton, Donna Graves, Christie Macdonald, Ruth Sherman, Dolf Kämper - background vocals

Written & Produced by Britt Olsen-Ecker & Melissa Wimbish
Additional Production by Daniel A. Ryan

Britt & I go to different worlds when we ‘zone up’ before a show. (Not to be confused with the term ‘bone up’ which we learned from a dancer at Britt’s bachelorette party.) She plugs things in, greets the sound person, sips water, chats with Justin, etc. while I set up the merch table but not in a very normal or timely way. This is the routine until that blessed day when we have a staff.

Help us on our path to a staff by participating in our presale vinyl/CD campaign or by purchasing a T-shirt, tank, sweatshirt, or other merchandise on Bandcamp. Our first vinyl pressing is underway featuring the beautiful artwork of @steve.parke and we have 💿s back in stock soon by popular demand!

If you are in a position to spend, please hit the Linktree above to fill out a preorder form (for vinyl/CDs) or Bandcamp, which has everything including our entire digital catalog. Or DM us directly with your order. 🗣️ by @outcallsband

what is perfection?

we’ve been songwriting for years, yet never felt it was ok to share our work until it was “perfect.” it ends today and may start again tomorrow but ends today. our demo “off this river” is live now for your happy Bandcamp Friday.

listen and then buy a vinyl or a cd for our presale campaign. 🖤 link in bio. by @outcallsband

*LOW TIX WARNING* for tomorrow’s dinner show at @49west_winebar_gallery! 7:30p doors, 8p show and we’re so excited to share the stage with @skribemusic 🤩 so hop in dat van and join us in Naptown! 🛥️

Ok, so the story behind this pic. This was on our first tour to the northeast in 2018. We took mushrooms that morning (sorry mom) and decided it was a good idea to visit the Ben & Jerry’s factory in Waterbury, VT. WRONG! It was overrun - we all were like “let’s get some ice cream and get the fuck out of here.” And we did but it probably took us 4 hours to figure out how to do it.

See y’all tomorrow 🍄 🎶 by @outcallsband
