Chapter 17 🤍🏔️💍⚽️

We kicked off our anniversary with Liam’s doubleheader soccer games in Jackson and turned it into a little family adventure. We explored, ate good food, made our own hats, camped, and just spent time together doing what we love.

Bryan and I have been together for 20 years, more than half of our lives. That is seriously so crazy to think about. We were basically kids when we started dating, and now here we are with two kids and this whole life we’ve built together.

We’ve literally grown up together. We’ve watched each other change a million times, gone through some of the best seasons and some really freaking hard ones, and somehow through all of it, we just keep choosing each other.

And honestly, this kind of anniversary weekend is pretty perfect for us. Give us the mountains, a camper, the outdoors, a random adventure, good food, and our little family and we’re happy.

17 years married, babe!! And there’s still nobody else I’d rather adventure through this life with.

Happy anniversary to us. Here’s to growing old together, raising these crazy kids, and hopefully a whole lot more camping and adventures along the way.

PSA: I used AI to remove Liam out of the camper picture, so I guess it flags it as AI content. 🙄😂 by @outdoorbella

Happy Birthday Trina!!!

🖤IN LOVING MEMORY OF YOUR 30s🖤

I know moving here wasn’t easy. It took a lot to leave behind what you knew and start a new chapter somewhere else. I hope you know how grateful everyone here is that you took that chance—but more importantly, how incredibly grateful I am that you moved here.

Because somehow, you moving here gave me one of the greatest gifts I could have asked for: you.

Obviously, my amazingness welcomed you in with open arms, and from there I happily chauffeured you to the backcountry so we could partake in all kinds of questionable activities together. 😂 And somewhere along the way, those questionable decisions turned into some of my favorite memories.

I mean, what other friendship can casually include doing a séance, apparently welcoming the ghosts of our father’s past, and then proceeding to dance the night away with them.🖤

There are people who come into your life and there are people who become part of it. You became part of bot just mine but ours. You’re the person I can laugh with until I can’t breathe, be completely ridiculous with, talk about the real life with, and apparently communicate with the dead with.

I wouldn’t trade any of it.

I’m so grateful life brought you here, and even more grateful that somewhere in all the chaos, it brought us together after all these years. I blame our parents.

Love you till we’re old, gray, and still screaming emo songs like we’re 17.

May we continue making questionable decisions together until our knees physically prevent us from doing so, although mines already started but even then, we’ll probably just do them sitting down. by @outdoorbella

One of my favorite days of the year. ❤️🤍💙

There’s just something special about the Fourth of July.

Small town parades where everyone knows someone. Watching Liam get to be part of the parade through DARE. River Fest. Good food. Family BBQs. Kids running around until they’re filthy. The smell of fireworks in the air. Fireworks that somehow still make me feel like a little kid. And of course… at least one near-death experience every year. 😂 (If you know, you know.)

I love that for one day, life just feels a little simpler. People are outside instead of inside. Neighbors are talking. Kids are laughing. Families are making memories they’ll probably still be laughing about years from now.

These are the moments I’ll remember—not because they were perfect, but because we were all together.

I hope we never lose the magic of slowing down, celebrating summer, making memories with the people we love, and appreciating this beautiful life we’ve been given.

Happy Fourth of July, everyone. ❤️🇺🇸 by @outdoorbella

While part of me wishes I could freeze moments like this forever, another part of me is excited to watch their relationship grow through every stage of life. by @outdoorbella

A lot of people don’t know this, but years ago I had multiple little businesses. Outdoorbella, Bare & Sage, jewelry making... there was a time I was constantly creating. Making things with my hands, dreaming up ideas late at night, packaging orders on the floor surrounded by chaos, doing markets, talking to customers, and pouring my whole heart into building something.
And honestly? I loved that version of me.
Then life happened.
Marriage. Infertility. Babies. Homeschooling.
Financial stress. Burnout. Survival mode.
Seasons that changed me.
And somewhere along the way, I stopped creating.
So when I walk through markets now, I don’t just see booths. I see people taking risks. I see exhausted moms and dads chasing dreams after work hours. I see people betting on themselves and hoping their passion turns into something bigger.
That’s why my heart hurts so much for the @idahofallsfarmersmarket vendors right now.
I love this town. I love community events. I love seeing families downtown, kids running around, people supporting local businesses, and vendors chasing dreams they’ve worked so hard for.
Some of these vendors are in their very first year, like @littleshopofconcretes. Some invested money they barely had. Some spent late nights making products, planning displays, preparing inventory, and getting excited for this season. They had absolutely nothing to do with leadership decisions, and now they’re stuck in the middle of something way bigger than them.
Some vendors are pulling out completely.
Some are boycotting Saturday so their voices can be heard. And honestly, I stand behind vendors whether they choose to stay, leave, or boycott. Small businesses are part of what gives this town its heart. These vendors matter.

🌙✨ Yule begins tomorrow & the 13 Nights of Magick start ✨🌙

Tomorrow we welcome Yule, the Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year and the quiet turning point where the light begins to return.

For us, this season is about slowing down, grounding, and listening.
It’s a sacred pause. A reminder that growth often begins in the dark.

The 13 Nights of Magick are a time of intention and trust.
We write our desires as if they already live within us. Not as wishes for others, but as seeds for our own becoming.
Each night, one intention is released to the flame, without reading it, without controlling it. Just trusting that what is meant to grow will grow in its own time.

On the final night, one seed remains, the one we are meant to tend ourselves in the coming year.

This isn’t dark or scary.
It’s ancient, gentle, and deeply healing.
Like planting seeds in winter soil, giving them rest, darkness, and faith before spring.

If you feel called to slow down, reflect, release, and set intentions for what wants to grow next… this season is for you 🌲🕯️✨

Last night I hosted an intimate girls night. It was all about you, @tjchristensonryan . We are so proud of your strength and everything your body has carried you through. Now it’s time to evict the uterus.

GIRL….BYE!

We hope you felt the love, the laughs, and the support. You are so loved, and remember you are never alone in this healing chapter. Here’s to rest, recovery, and a future that feels lighter in every way. We love you 🤍 by @outdoorbella

I’ve learned that I am me because of everything I’ve gone through.
No religion, no person, and no opinion defines who I am or what I’m capable of.

NO ONE can measure my success.

For too long, I let other people’s feelings determine my happiness.
If they didn’t approve, I’d shrink myself.
If they didn’t support me, I’d question my worth.

But not anymore.

I’ve walked away from one sided friendships.
I’ve been called “too much,” when all I ever was, was honest, loyal, and real.
I’ve learned that choosing a different path doesn’t make me or my family wrong.
It makes us ourselves.

My husband and I are raising our kids the way we feel called to. With love, freedom, truth, and kindness.

And that’s enough.

I don’t judge people for what they believe or how they live.
I used to, because that’s what I was taught, but I’ve unlearned that.
The only thing I’ll ever judge is cruelty, bullying, and hypocrisy.

You haven’t walked a day in my shoes.
You don’t know my story. The pain, the trauma, the rebuilding.
I’ve been hurt, I’ve been judged, I’ve been through hell, and yet here I am, still standing, still smiling, still loving.

I’m one of the friendliest, funniest, most caring humans you’ll ever meet and I’m finally proud of who I am and I am here! by @outdoorbella

I hate that Feral gets a bad name.
It’s often tied to neglect, or wildness gone too far. But truthfully, there’s beauty behind the word I feel.

The word feral holds more than just rebellion. It speaks to raw authenticity, resilience, and untamed strength.
To me being feral is to live close to your instincts, to break away from what the world says you should be, and to remember who you really are. There’s magic in the mess. Strength in the softness. Grace in the grit.

It’s barefoot kids with dirt stained hands and firelight in their eyes. It’s the windblown hair. It’s mamas who laugh too loud, love too fiercely, and choose joy over perfection.
It’s about freedom. Independence. A wild kind of grace.

There’s a quiet power in those called feral. It’s a reminder that true beauty often lives outside the lines.
And maybe, just maybe, it’s in the wildness that we find our truest selves. So maybe feral isn’t something to fix or is bad. Maybe it’s something to embrace and I will say, I EMBRACE it! #stayferal by @outdoorbella

Annual feral mama & kids campout at Wade Lake ✔️
Last year I waddled up for the day. I was pregnant, swollen, and mildly miserable. This year, we made it an overnight adventure! 🏕️

It was suppose to be for 2 nights but a freak rain + hail storm soaked everything in our Temu tent (note to self: just because it pops up in 32 seconds doesn’t mean it’s camp worthy 😂). So we packed up early and headed home Tuesday night, soggy but smiling.

But oh, was it worth it.
Liam was in his element running wild with his friends, Madie had her very first sleepover camping trip (and ate her weight in snacks), and I got to laugh, unwind, and just be with my girls. My heart and soul feel full. 💛

Until next year, Wade Lake.
Next time…with a real tent. 😅 by @outdoorbella

A little over a week ago we had a fun getaway in St. George at my brother Freddy’s place for a week! Bryan got to join us finally which made the trip even better. Wasn’t in the 100°s, but it was still pretty warm. The kids lived their best life. They got to spend time with their cousins swimming, hitting up the splash pad, roller skating, hiking, and even trying out a Ninja Warrior gym. We indulged in ice cream, pickles, and played restaurant. Truly a trip to remember! We wish we lived closer. We miss them so much already. Counting down the days until we go camping together in a week and a half! by @outdoorbella

We made some of the best memories this past week at the lake! My parents got a campsite at Rigby Lake, and we truly lived our best life. Liam kayaked, rode his bike, made new friends, and even found a pen pal from Switzerland! Madie happily ate ALL the things, she tried her first s’more and absolutely LOVED it. She’s still unsure about the water, but as long as she had food in her hands, she didn’t care what was going on around her. We had such a great time. Summer is officially here, and we couldn’t be happier about it! by @outdoorbella
