It is difficult to imagine art and nature without her. We are so grateful that she is part of our collective! Kelsey Wishik is an interdisciplinary artist from the Southeastern US who has a deep connection to nature. She is a sculptor, installation artist, painter, musician, and yoga and movement instructor. Through art, music, and movement, she seeks to discover the diverse capacities of creativity as a unifying language and form of responsive intelligence.
As part of the next Outdoor Unframed Exhibit at Lake Herrick, Kelsey is facilitating a guided healing hike Saturday October 21 at 2pm. The hike will involve mindfulness, breathwork, poetry readings, and live music as the walk passes through the current outdoor art exhibit installed throughout the forest. Don’t miss it!

Joni Younkins-Herzog is another member of OutdoorUnframed collective. She is a sculptor living in Athens, Georgia with an MFA from Indiana University, and has exhibited her work throughout the United States and abroad in Italy, Colombia, Peru, Poland, and Ghana. "I am a sculptor with a love of materials. Each medium I use poses a challenge to maximize its strengths and expressive qualities. I enjoy tapping into unusual imagery in my outdoor works. My interest in botany and herbalism influences my studio inspiration and desire to represent a feminine mystique on a grand scale."

We are so lucky Yana Bondar is a member of OutdoorUnframed!

“The feeling of Gentle Sadness is like a soft hum in your heart that lingers before you start crying, but it never fully fades away. It’s like sleeping and also like decay. “
Yana has explored this feeling through their ceramic sculptures and drawings. They uses biblical, contemporary media narratives to examine and subvert different archetypes around gender, holiness, and the body as a place.
Yana is an artist from Augusta, GA with a MFA in Ceramics from University of Georgia.

We’ve started our art collective with a walk in the woods! We are an eclectic group of artists, musicians, performers, writers, educators, and scientists. We aim to make temporary art installations on trails and host art walks with music, poetry, performances, and nature talks.
