‘Aftermath’, a collaboration featuring fellow Birmingham producers @alloy_dnb @the_skeptics_dnb alongside @mc_rvs . Haunting vocal textures in the intro help build tension before the track drops into a rolling groove of gritty basslines, crisp drums and heavyweight low-end pressure. With its dark atmosphere and relentless momentum, Aftermath is built to lock dancers in from the very first drop.

The title track ‘Palisades’ leans deeper into the EP’s darker aesthetic. Sharp, cutting bass fills slice through a rolling low-end groove, delivering a stripped-back but powerful rhythm built for late-night dancefloors. by @outline.audio

‘Narc’, a collaboration with ADHD, raises the intensity. A huge bassline leads the charge while sharp, slapping drums keep the groove locked in — the evolving bass progression making this one guaranteed to turn heads on bigger systems.

@aksel_uk makes his full debut on the label with the Palisades EP — a four-track selection of sharp sound design, heavy low-end pressure and rolling drum & bass built for the darker side of the dancefloor featuring a collab track with @joel_adhd

Originally from Cambridge and now based in Bristol, the 25-year-old producer has spent the last eight years refining his craft. Influenced by artists across both minimal and forward-thinking drum & bass — from Amoss and QZB to IMANU and Ivy Lab — Aksel’s sound blends hard-hitting bass weight with intricate production detail. With previous releases on labels including Empathy Audio, Altius Sounds, Incurzion Audio and Stellar Audio, he continues to develop a catalogue that balances dancefloor impact with evolving sound design. by @outline.audio
