We’ll be spinning some of our favorite yacht rock, r&b and funk/soul records for a chill Sunday afternoon~ We have been collecting records that stem from our upbringing- songs that our parents loved and passed on to us, songs that bring back memories and give a sense of togetherness. We will be spinning songs that feel like home 🫂🎶

We’ll also be selling a collection of records (plaka | PLAH-KAH, in Tagalog) curated with familiar albums and some that may be new to you!

Can’t wait to see y’all this Sunday! taken in Razorsharp Barbershop & Shave Parlor by @outofoffice.sessions

We’re actually *out of office* right now in the Philippines until the 15th, butttt we did leave a restock of about 50 records at @terraceplantshop in Westfield before we left! Lots of soft rock, funk/soul, singles, faves, + more - stop by to check it out in the new arrivals bin! by @outofoffice.sessions

Everyone’s reminiscing about 2016 right now, but we’re still stuck in the ’90s!

This year, we’re starting a new iteration of our Listening Breaks- exploring our collection more intentionally, sharing it with y’all, and opening up space for everyone to connect over the music we love.

We hope y’all enjoy these bits as much as we do 🙂‍↕️ by @outofoffice.sessions

It’s been awhile, friends! Happy New Year :)

We started off our 2026 with our first time visiting a record show this past Sunday—and it definitely won’t be our last! So glad our first experience was with @recordriotsrock. It was a ton of fun digging through countless bins and connecting with vendors on our digs. We couldn’t wait to share our finds and highlight a few favorites!

We’ve been collecting for a while and nothing beats that feeling when you finally find something you’ve been searching for. Breakwater was one of ‘em for us! Every time we prep for a gig, we ask each other all the time if we have that one Breakwater record, the one with yellow boots, and now we can officially stop questioning it 🙂‍↕️

We can’t wait to play these for you all, and we hope a few of these albums spark some curiosity for you to check ’em out, too.

Also—peep the new design we’re testing out!

We love sharing our finds because that’s what music is all about, and we love shouting out where we find ’em to support the local businesses keeping vinyl alive.

Stay tuned for more :)

Album Highlights 💿

•Ned Doheny - Hard Candy (1976)

✨LISTENING BREAK!✨

MAW’s To Be In Love (1997)

Startin the week off right with some *house*work! Anyone else get easily distracted when music is on?

A little about Masters At Work (MAW): a production team of two, Louie Vega and Kenny Dope Gonzalez. You may heard of them individually, or even under other monikers like Nuyorican Soul, Hardrive, KenLou, or Sole Fusion. MAW has been an undeniably influential force on house and garage music in the 90s and thereafter. They often collaborated with Puerto Rican singer India whose vocals are present on this track. India attended grade school with Louie Vega and married him at 19. Though they later divorced, they continued to maintain a professional relationship, creating soulful house arrangements that pushed the genre forward.

✨LISTENING BREAK!✨

Juliet Roberts’ Caught In The Middle (1993)

Huge shoutout to @vinylminded.record.store for this awesome haul of house records!! Check out their discogs for more of their collection 🙌

House music emerged in the 1980s, pioneered by DJ Frankie Knuckles mixing genres like disco and electronic together. Knuckles was the resident DJ of the Warehouse - a primarily black, gay club that was open from 1977 to 1982. People say that’s where the name “house” music comes from - the kind of music played at the Warehouse. Alternatively, Chicago DJ Leonard “Remix” Rroy claimed the term “house” music came from playing what one might find at your home, as he worked his mother’s collection of funk/soul into his mixes.

✨LISTENING BREAK!✨

Earl Klugh’s Crazy For You
Track: Crazy For You

It’s a cozy rainy day so it’s all easy listening today 😌 Earl Klugh (pronounced like “clue”) is the king of the nylon stringed guitar. Primarily a self taught guitarist, he would buy records from his favorite guitar players and try to find the chords. He met George Benson at 17, and Benson was fascinated that Klugh wanted to play jazz on a classical guitar, which was key in him developing his specific smooth jazz sound.

TLDR Earl is animal crossing music before it was animal crossing! 🎵
