CREATING PARALLEL SYSTEMS

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

“How will we live with each other when climate change fundamentally breaks the systems we know?”

We start with incorporating sustainable rhythms that serves us collectively. Hence we rest, we slow down. 🌙

Rest alone doesn’t dismantle anything. Systemic dismantling needs changes to ownership and care infrastructure - until then it stays a private coping strategy. But irrespective of it, rest is necessary. And to build and imagine systems that incorporate shared forms of inactivity is a start to build lives beyond production.

We are building systems for post-capitalistic worlds. Want to build one with us? :) write to

"In miserable times its easier to talk misery than to talk hope."
⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Not just talking, we need more of doing, organising and executing. We are building a network of friends, future friends and anyone who dares to hope in times of hopelessness. To build towards a near future where we can practice and radiate radical care. This is one of the things that @theOutpost is becoming and breeding :) 🍄 🍄 🍄

Rest, Rehearse, Revolt.
🗣️ 🗣️ 🗣️

What can the Outpost become? After almost a year of starting the Outpost, we are at a pivotal point. Like any other project with big ambitions; we are reflecting, revising and reiterating our goals as experience arrives. It was a year of experiments - to gauge the space and its possibilities. We are slowly unfolding and remoulding here.
More on the coming posts :)

⭐️ Know your neighbours before you build a community ⭐️

At Outpost we are doing a lot of things and getting to know our neighbours is one of them :)
How does building a community look like when you step into a new neighbourhood? When you don’t know what has already been existing? And what is yet to exist?

We start with collaborating with @__ryanmcclure
Ryan is an interdisciplinary design engineer specialising in innovative products, systems and experiences that create positive social and environmental impact. 🍄
With Ryan we are developing a sense of familiarity with the geography where the Outpost stands! 🌲
The water, air, flora and fauna, the people and eventually the discovery of ways they can be active actors of change <3
Our goal is to create blueprints to build a sustainable creative community and a base for Solarpunk futures! 🧡 🍄

A small recap from the 🪅Opening Weekend🪅 at the Outpost in the Swedish Forest :)
We finally opened our doors to caring, sharing and innovating! After endless hours of sweating blood and tears we had our first opening party with lovely souls that joined us. We danced, solved riddles and shared our desire to find community - and most importantly the necessity of acting together! ⭐️

We are ecstatic for the upcoming months! :) stay tuned for updates 🧡

💌 OPENING PARTY 💌

Welcome to the Outpost! :) As the days are getting longer and stronger, we open our doors for a new year to gather, play, build and persist. 🍄

We started our journey with an intention to rehearse collectively for the current affairs and state of the world. Now more than ever we need spaces that nurtures experimentations, openness to learn and grow - and to embody collective practices.

Come and spend the opening days with us lying on the grass on the long long summers day in Sweden. Swim with the fishes in the lake, go on an adventure into the forest, or join the workshops in front of the yard. Groove to the tunes, dance, play, protest!!! 💬 🌲

Register by sending us an email: hello@theoutpost.network 🙂‍↕️⭐️

More details SOON! ;)
🧡 💛
