Part 1. San Luis Peak, one of the most remote and loneliest 14ers out there. When I woke up that morning, I checked the weather and it had taken a turn for the worse. Weather showed nonstop rain with no lightning, so we decided to move forward. It was pouring on us all the way to the trailhead. We started our hike and shortly after, the sky started to part a bit and the sun came up. Soon, we caught our first view of the valley, with San Luis Peak in the distance… just waiting for us. Felt like we were in another world with these clouds rolling through the valley so quickly. Only proper we got a little 🌶️ for Tanner’s 14er finisher!!

Had so much fun on this one!! We had the hiking gods on our side and had the most perfect day! First Grand Traverse in the books! Woooooo!! That’s freaking crazy to say! And I only got scared once! Haha! Feeling so grateful for this crew and being apart of Tanner’s big day! What an accomplishment to finish all 58/58 14ers and 4/4 Grand Traverses!!

And now I think I’m addicted to big climbs… 🫢 by @outside_shananigans_

Celebrated Fritz turning 8 with views above 14,000’!!

Dude might have a little more grey in his face, but man he still kicks my ass on the uphill!! This was his 6th 14er summit!! I absolutely love getting to share these experiences with him. He’s my reason for getting outside. My reason I get see these views and have amazing days like these. Soaking up as much as I can while I still can!! 🤍
