The part you don’t always see. From creative direction to artist development—building, shaping, refining.I’m so proud to have been present for Alan’s (@alancave ) first headlining show in Boston at MGM, where I produced the storytelling visuals that carried the experience between each segment.I almost didn’t make it to Boston… but God had other plans.Prayers before he hit the stage, making tea, facilitating wardrobe changes mid-show—whatever it took to get the job done. I’m a leader, but I also understand the power of being a team player… knowing when to step forward and when to flow in support.The past few years have been intentional—building real momentum:Hours-long calls.Studio sessions.Strategic features & bookings.Rebrand shoots.RE-presenting you to the digital world. Operations structured.The work is intentional. The work is quiet. So for those who’ve seen me… but never fully understand what I do—Here is a glimpse. 6 years ago today… I brought a dream to life - a BROOKLYN HAITIAN CARIBBEAN BASHMENT I directed & produced my first music video—for my debut single. I gathered my tribe, the vibe was perfect, and something special happened. I spent the last few months working on my documentary after years of shifting gears to Music FullTime. Making this film has allowed me to learn so much about housing discrimination and how it still prevails in Black and Brown communities.Half of the people living in NYC can’t afford to. The distribution of the city’s “affordable housing” is not prioritized for those with the lowest levels of income. And with 88% of people in NYC shelters being Black and Brown, this documentary, “Broke Unhousing,” explores just how broken the system is and has been for marginalized communities throughout decades of housing discrimination.
