Delighted to be part of the Two Seas project by @earthsonicproject ~ this one truly makes you think and feel ~ to become conscious, connected 𓂃⋆.˚

Two Seas reflects on the dimensions of climate change by telling the story of two water bodies, inevitably transformed by the phenomenon.

One of these is the Bothnian Bay of Oulu. Last week, moved by the recordings taken of its ice, melting, we had a recording session with @paranoidlondon ~ among the creations of other wonderful artists, these recordings will contribute to an audio-visual installation, interpretting the sounds of changing seas.

Warmest thanks to everyone behind the project, especially Ruth, @nikitallerena_ , Quinn, Del and the whole crew of @in_place_of_war <33!

Deep listening to and with nature's matters.. this time, sea ice. The preserving force beyond time, projection of nature-human interdependences. Embodying life within the static, sounds behind silence, states and spaces of in-between. Essence: cyclicity, limitless connectedness.

🎶 Ovddolaš @ovddolas is a collective creating surreal audiovisual spaces that stem from coexistence.

Meaning enigmatic in the Northern Sámi language, the word ‘ovddolaš’ draws the perspective of this small artistic community. Their performances interpret the notes of intuition, embedding care and wisdom that are often left unheard.

The Lapinlahti Film Festival will be held from the 22nd to the 24th of August 2025 in Lapinlahti, Helsinki. Admission to the festival is free. Welcome!

🎶 Ovddolaš @ovddolas on kollektiivi, joka luo yhteiselosta käsin surrealistisia ja audiovisuaalisia tiloja.

Pohjoissaamen kielellä 'ovddolaš' tarkoittaa arvoituksellista, ja se heijastaa tämän pienen taiteilijayhteisön näkökulmaa. Heidän esityksensä tulkitsevat intuition sävyjä, jotka kätkevät sisäänsä huolenpitoa ja viisautta – ja usein sellaista, joka jää kuulematta."
