I've sat on drawings, scribbles and writings for YEARS, instagram engagement being at an all time low has actually taken the pressure off posting "only good stuff". Go back to 2016? NO thankss.It was one of the roughesttttt years of my life.Everything that could go wrong, kind of went wrong. Here are a few? things.I think I started believing in 🧿 because I genuinely felt someone was having a great time watching me suffer. I would have weird physical symptoms. My hypochondria was at its peak. I was a bad teammate during a linocut workshop because I just couldn't get myself to do anything! I struggled to get out of bed.My favourite phone got stolen after I cracked it and hated myself for it. Had a very very bad relationship and breakup where I tethered myself to 1 person (because I was drowning).Got one of the strictest faculty members and absolutely bombed the course- literally she threatened to rip my work in class. I didn't even attend the last day where you display your work. I'd have 1 idea, begin working on it, trash it, find others.The amount of validation I sought from others didn't help either. I realised I needed therapy and meds probably but didn't get access to them.I missed some fun college events. I'd be sobbing in random places. I remember messing up booking not 2 but 3 flight and bus bookings one after another, missing my flight, fighting with family and being so scattered.When I left for college, I was definitely NOT ready. And that led to so many fiascos and situations. I felt trapped in a never ending cycle of things. I was controlled by doom, dread and fear. And why did I expect myself to thrive and not screw up while in this position. I lost a lot of college to this shit. But itssokk we past that now! ❤️✨My anchors were : My doggie slowly became a part of our family. Coming home in college breaks.Yelli days and being surrounded by people and college shenanigans.It's been 7 years since I finished college and will be 11 since I joined O___OAnd things are so different! We'll have a different post for that and let the misery just be here :p plix no 2016 vibes again. by @oven__knee

Long time no ovenI'm doing lots of things still, just off instagram. And maybe I prefer this. Having a full time job means that I'm not putting so much pressure here to create art, look 'cool', exude personality✨️ or whatever else. Different phases, different priorities :) by @oven__knee
