CDJ-3000X stems, controlled from the DJM-V10. With the OverCue mods, Stem EQ mode will give you this mapping on the V10: LOW → Drums LOW-MID → Vocals HIGH-MID → Harmonics Enable Stem EQ mode on your CDJ-3000 or CDJ-3000X, then control the stems in real time using the channel EQ knobs on a DJM-A9 or DJM-V10. On the mixers, a red light at the top of the channel level meter flashes while Stem EQ mode is active, so you can see at a glance which channels are using it & won’t forget about it when playing live. No need to copy and beatgrid separate acapellas or instrumentals anymore. Saves hours of your time and lets you now build your own live remixes as you play on your favorite equipment! What would you remix first? #overcue #cdj3000x #djmv10 #stems by @overcue.gg
OverCue is now stable enough for live use, and just as safe as a stock firmware update! But not every venue, tech, or DJ is going to be properly informed or comfortable with it. So we designed a stealth system to swap between OverCue and stock on the fly without re-flashing firmware! Need the next DJ back on stock firmware? Restore the CDJs one at a time while the other decks keep playing! If the other CDJs are using the USB inside the CDJ being rebooted, the system verifies the playing tracks are fully loaded into memory on the other CDJs first so playback doesn’t stop while the CDJ with your playing USB reboots (reboots take 20-25 seconds). Once the reboot is finished, reselect the USB on the other CDJs (takes about 10-20 seconds for the USB to come back up on the other linked CDJs) and keep going. Want even more redundancy? Keep duplicate USBs in multiple players. This way there’s no need to even worry about tracks loading into memory on the other CDJs before rebooting the CDJ with the playing USB in it. No awkward changeover! No stopping the music! Back to stock whenever you need it! by @overcue.gg
