🇬🇧 @gsy_london is one of London’s most historic buildings! | pr invite ✨ I recently spent 24 hours at Great Scotland Yard Hotel, a luxury boutique hotel with a history unlike anywhere else in London. Long before it became the headquarters of the Metropolitan Police, Great Scotland Yard was home to Scottish kings and their ambassadors when they visited the nearby Palace of Whitehall. The building later became the original Scotland Yard, helping shape one of the world’s most famous police forces. Today, it’s been beautifully transformed into a boutique hotel where history meets modern luxury. One of my favourite details was the artwork displayed throughout the hotel, much of which has been created by prisoners across the UK as part of rehabilitation programmes, supporting creative skills and second chances. One of the best parts? 🇬🇷 Everyone knows the Cyclades, but after visiting Lefkada, I think the Ionian Islands deserve just as much attention. If you’re dreaming of turquoise water, dramatic white cliffs, hidden coves and a slower pace than some of Greece’s more famous islands, Lefkada should be at the top of your list. One of the best things about Lefkada? You don’t even need a ferry - you can drive straight onto the island from mainland Greece. I stayed at @crystalwaterslefkada (pr invite) it’s the perfect base if you’re looking for a stylish and relaxing place to stay. It’s close to some of the island’s most beautiful beaches, has a stunning pool area, and is the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. Spend your days exploring Porto Katsiki and Egremni Beach - two of the most breathtaking beaches in Greece. Rent a boat to discover hidden coves only accessible by sea, wander the colourful streets of Lefkada Town, or enjoy a long lunch at one of the waterfront tavernas in Nidri. The water is an impossible shade of blue you usually only see with a photo filter... except it’s completely real. And somehow, it looks even more incredible in person. 💙 Quick Lefkada travel tips ⬇️

🇵🇹 The most soulful shop you have to visit in the Algarve ⬇️ Casa da Empreita in Loulé is keeping an ancient palm weaving tradition alive. 💛 Everything in this shop is handmade from dwarf palm leaves. 💛 Each item is woven entirely by hand and so every single piece is completely unique. 💛 What I love most is that each item has a little tag with the name of the person who made it, and when you buy it, 100% of the money goes directly to that individual.
