Wonders of ZhangJiaJie
(Iconically the first image is from GuangZhou)

—————————————————————————
Read here for ramblings:

Well against my will. I’ve been taken to Zhangjiajie, China for the last 2 weeks even though i wanted to stay home and I can say that trip has been life-changing experience. Well ok that might be putting too much exaggeration into “Life-changing experience”… It definitely will be a trip to remember. Being able to see all the big places that my grandparents would tell me about in person feels like a self fulling prophecy being completed and you could call that “life changing” but to be honest it’s not the places visited that was “life changing” for me, it was more the events that happened on the trip, specifically two. The first was that I finally had an excuse to give to my brain that I need to practice some fundamentals in drawing specifically humanoid anatomy (so that I can finally finish off my fursona’s ref 😭). so yeah i spent any given chance on this trip on practicing, the final image in this album is one of my fruits of labor, I say it’s pretty good but some artist (my sister) would probably “it’s a good start”. For the second things… it’s more of a personal thing that I have chosen not to talk about, not because I don’t want to but I’m afraid I will end up with a half a trama dump post that I can’t send due to caption size limits instagram puts on me haha. Overall, the trip was super nice and I hope come back here with someone or maybeeeeeee just maybe a fursuit to take some photos hehehh by @overtimechaos

Memories to be fondly remembered
———————————————
Well that’s a wrap for my first furcon.

If you’re reading this then I guess you don’t mind a bit of reading of my retrospection of this entire experience.

What a roller coaster… putting my social awkwardness to the test haha… Before i continue, I would like to apologise to anyone who might have weirded out with some of my sudden initiation of conversation, I promise I was trying my best to not come off weird, just I want to meet and know new furs but don’t really have anything good to follow up the conversation after the beginning

With that out of of the way, lets get to some of the good parts

The con was very fun, super fun even and I will definitely be attending next year if I can obtain a ticket (and fingers crossed, I will have at least a head next year to boil away all my anxiety). Meet alot of furs, hugged a few and find some fellow protogens and even got to meet a primagen suiter (last image). I almost got to meet the creator of protogens and primagen and get myself proot bean but unfortunately they got sold out before I even got a chance to get to the den (I’m still butt hurt from losing the doorstooper prootbean at the auctionbut I know I was clearly out-matched, (I’m still gonna pout ok)). The panels were wonderful and Dead Dog Dance was smashing.

Now for the bad parts

I feel like I spent too much time attending panels or being in the dealers den instead of hanging out with friends and while I know that should really effect much, I just felt like I was doing disservice as a friend for not being there for at least a good chunk of the con. I also felt worthless without a purpose during the con like if I was background character? I don’t know, I know these thoughts make me want to be an attention seeker but I know that’s a bad thing so I never act on them, yet they keep coming back… it’s like I’m two people in one sometimes.

Well that’s everything I wanted to talk about, Aurawra did a great job of making my first experience an overall wonderful one.
