THANK YOU @harborhawks ❤️ This video takes you along our journey this summer! So grateful to have travelled to 47 games with Hyannis this summer. Getting to see college baseball player’s come together to experience the Cape Cod Baseball League was something I will never forget! In this video, I clipped some of my favorite interviews throughout our player evolvement through the season!! To all the interns and amazing people I have met this summer, it was a PRIVILEGE!!!! I wish you & all of our guys nothing but the best! Taking stats with my pink pen and pink notebook will be missed. Thanks for the best summer Hyannis. When I transferred to UMass my sophomore year from the @plymouthstate cheer team, I knew I wanted to be involved in sports somehow. I tried to get into Isenberg four times as a business major, hoping and praying I could make it happen here. I spent my high school years training for pageants like Miss Teen Massachusetts, where I fell in love with the interview portion. Growing up, I played almost every sport you can think of, it was a huge part of my life. I realized I could combine my love for sports with storytelling and interviewing athletes, and I wanted to make that happen.When I walked into @wmuasports my sophomore year, I remember Jacob and John being there, and I was the ONLY girl in the station. I didn’t want to do play-by-play or color commentary. I wanted to be a sideline reporter. They told me they had never had one before, but they’d love to have one, and suggested I join the @umasshockey beat.The only problem? I barely knew hockey. I knew what icing was… and that they could fight—that was about it. So that night, I went on YouTube and searched “rules of hockey play-by-play” and “how to report on a hockey game.” I taught myself from listening to @jrepp_24 and @johnruggier0 for hours. To this day, I tell Jacob I could pick out his voice in a crowd of 50,000, so serious. I played the @highcharacter_ podcast while cleaning my room for weeks, learning the ins and outs of the team, stats, personalities, and the game from a fan perspective. I’m so grateful I was able to bring sideline reporting to WMUA and be a voice for women in our student radio station, to prove we can do anything we set our minds to!!! So many incredible women have joined since, and I feel lucky to have been part of their journeys. Now, hockey is part of my weekends—the games, the energy, sprinting to 4:00 media after my 3:45 class, the travel, the stories. But most importantly, the people who made it so special. I never imagined I’d experience all of this. This is your sign to say YES, take the risk, and follow your dreams. To everyone along the way, thank you. Gaining 20 brothers and 4 core sisters from @wmuasports is something I’ll forever be grateful for. Thank you @umasshockey ❤️ by @overtimewithava

SO much to be proud of this year🥹🥹 completed 3 internships this year —> @sportsgirlsclub , @harborhawks , and @newftbj . I got to be a commentator on ESPN+ and I covered over 8 different sports this year at my time at UMass. One of the hardest working years of my entire life, but wouldn’t trade the experiences I got this year for anything!!!! Thank you 2025❤️ by @overtimewithava

SUCH a fun familiar face in press tdy, Charlie was my producer this summer for the @harborhawks and I now cover UMass Football and he covers URI Football for @newftbj , small world. 🎤I got to travel to Omaha, Nebraska this past weekend with @wmuasports for the @umasshockey vs @omahahky series!!! Such a fun and new experience all together w the Sports @mdcollegian crew as well:) UMass hockey won the 1st game of the series 5-4, and lost the 2nd game 5-2 - ending 1-1.🏒 taken in Omaha, Nebraska by @overtimewithava
