A place to rest. Bringing dad home. Columbus landing, Mayaguez, PR 2023 scattering him under the Ceiba tree of generations. Can you imagine what tree has heard and seen? You will never not be entertained dad I know this tree invites all the people chatting and hanging and playing music 🇵🇷🇵🇷🇵🇷 taken in Mayaguez, Puerto Rico by @ovlatnom

Congratulations to my beautiful cousin @leahobryant and my new (!) cousin (in law) @brownscott. Who are checking off life goals like it’s their job! So proud of the newlyweds, new homeowners…and now new parents! Spending time with you two celebrating your new life together was so memorable and exciting! Can’t wait to meet Rose! 🌹 beyond proud of you both! taken in Bellingham, Washington by @ovlatnom

This was my last visit with my dad. April 22,2021. We did our favorite things to do together. We ate our traditional meal at Ivars fish and chips. We rode electric scooters, we walked around in the Seattle spring weather. We talked. We hugged, we laughed a lot. He always made everyone laugh. I can and can’t believe this day has come. Rest in laughter and love dad, I’m so happy I was your daughter. I know you will always be by my side and I’m sorry life was so tough for you- I hope you are forever released and your shining joyful spirit is at peace. I love you, Celi
