Malm + Berg + RekoX = Hole 10 🐦

Love every new hole at Pittock, but the par 4 hole 10 just stands out to me. A disgustingly demanding tunnel shot at least 250ft up the gut into the opening, then break hard left to have a good sightline at basket through the last line of guardians, thankfully I had a window after my drive!

@kastaplast your discs fly like a dream in the woods by @owenmcdg

Long week so far? Remember, the sounds of disc golf are waiting for you!

I wont say I took no inspiration in making this vid, thank you @eckenstein.dg for the very simple but fun to make idea.

Think I should do the back 9 reds and get a final score, or play the front 9 blues and compare scores?? You decide! by @owenmcdg

I planned for this to come out as a youtube video, but my editing software (or maybe just the 7 year old graphics card in my computer) is not having it.

Instead, please enjoy it as a... slightly lengthy reel lol

Massive shout out to @oculardiscs for the shiny Lapras dye on the glow Lots! Love this thing to death

2/5 of my best tournament of 2025! This video covers the front 9 of round 1! I had a slightly shakey start to the round but could feel the pace picking up going into the back 9 after a beautiful C2 putt on hole 6! Thank you for watching!!

This was my top 5 rated rounds of 2025!! A very up and down year for me, I've been changing putting styles and molds a lot, it was around August this year I really started cementing my bag. Hopeful for a strong 2026!! 💪 and good luck to all of you this year!

We've all got that disc in our collection that is SO HARD TO THROW! Sometimes these discs are more than just discs to us.
Like everything, art is subjective, and to me I have MANY discs I would consider art, what plastic style would you consider most "artistically pleasing"??

Thank you for watching my video, if you have any ideas for videos or feedback please let me know! Im always trying to improve this content, but going 6 second tik tok mode isnt how I plan to do that, my content will refocus on being TRULY passionate for the sport, I may ramble a bit in my explanations, but I care alot about this stuff. And I hope I attract the right audience with these videos! :)

Huge thanks to the legends involved in getting me the discs in this list!
@jennifer15354 & Martin Hendel! (Halo Roc3)

WHAT MOLDS CARRIED YOU THROUGH 2025? ID LOVE TO HEAR YOUR FAV MOLDS FROM THE YEAR AND IF YOUVE TRIED ANY FROM MY LIST, GIVE ME YOUR FEEDBACK!! :)

I have a couple video ideas in the back of my head, I cant wait to show you guys!

HM: MVP EM Proton Resistor @166G (practice ace and lots of good anhyzer practice)
25 Discraft Uli ZSwirl CapRap @176G (saved my 1011 round with big roll inbounds)
Clash Discs Tone Proto Salt @174G (have mashed 500ft with this guy)

5: Kastaplast Lots variations @170+G (so many memories with this mold, my OG fairway)

4: Some Silly Bolderbane @172G

3: Streamline 23 OTB Proton Soft Echo @178G (major part of my 1011 round in the woods, all around monster for tight flightpaths this season)

2 Kastaplast K1 Reko @170+G (lavender got my dreamaker ace worth $670 🤯 then at Nats after losing lavender and taking a penalty stroke, i threw an "ace" for my par throw in from the tee with the blue one 🫠)

1: Yikun Hammer @170+G (this disc has saved me strokes all around ontario, no matter the hole, shot shape, distance required, or anything else, a hammer could probably make it happen :P)

Hello everybody!! Im sure many of you know me, and the first video in this post does this job well, but I'll give the general rundown either way.
My name is Owen McDonald, I've been playing disc golf for just over 2 years now, I represent the Woodstock Disc Golf Collective in Southern Ontario
Im a very environmentally conscious player, so from time to time you may see me picking trash up around the course and am a big advocate for trying our best to introduce younger generations to the sport in as many ways as we can! This sport saved my life, and not in any of the figurative ways, it has genuinely found me a purpose and made me want something again, and I cant thank the entire community enough for it. Here's to a fantastic 2026 everybody! Id love to get rounds in with so many of you! I hope to bring some fun content to this page this year! If you have any ideas or things you want to see let me know! by @owenmcdg
