I had a lovely evening down at @jtsoar in Nottingham on Friday. Catching up with some lovely faces (@iantheband) that I have not seen for far too long.

I have been photographing Hannah, Craig, Bob, Ted and Anna in their various bands for over 20 years!

It was lovely to take some photos of some live music again. Its been a while.

Blood Red Shoes - 93 Ft East, London. 2006.

Shot very soon after I moved to London. A little nod back to my earlier shot of Cat on Form at the Cavern. Steve was in both bands. Always great band to photograph, such a big sound for a duo. Love it when a drummer is at the front of the stage as well. taken in 93 Feet East by @owenrichardsplusone

In 2006, I was working in snappy snaps for a year after university. I made use (with permission) of being able to print all my photos up. I had an exhibition in the basement of the King Ludd bookshop on Fore Street. I remember it being a lovely old book shop with piles of books everywhere and an open minded owner. The basement was a little white room with damp walls and doubled up as practice room for bands. There was even a couple of gigs organised in there. I don’t have any photos my show apart from the poster and the selection of photographs that I exhibited. DIY at its best! taken in Fore Street. Exeter Devon Uk by @owenrichardsplusone
