Basketball has taught me so much in life and it has helped me grow so much as a person. I’m grateful to all my trainers, coaches, friends, and family who helped me along my journey. This experience is something I will remember for the rest of my life. #43out by @owenvoorheis

Everybody want to know what I would do if I didn’t win… I guess we’ll neva know 🤷‍♂️

A year ago I went to fall retreat 2025 for Salt Company, at the time I was a skeptical when it came to Christianity, but wanted to give fall retreat and Salt a chance because I was struggling with loneliness and depression, and not feeling wanted by a majority of the people in my life. Then that all changed when I finally met people who cared about me and wanted to re-introduce me to Gods love. Since then I got saved, baptized, and living the greatest life one could have, a life with Christ. Fast forward to fall retreat 2026 a full year later, and God moved in me more than he ever has before. I feel refreshed, and even more motivated to grow closer to Him spiritually. Shoutout to Jesus for giving me the life I have today. And shoutout to pink team for winning 🤙 by @owenvoorheis

Year 1 in the books
1 Corinthians 10:13 “No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so you can endure it.”

Freshman year had its ups and downs, but it ultimately led me to being a devoted Christ believer and forever receiving Gods glory, and His glory is so beautiful. All of Gods plans happen for a reason, and looking back on it I wouldn’t change a thing about this year. I hope this collection of my happiest and funny memories of this year can serve as a light, as Jesus is a light for all of us. It’s true that He loves all of us! by @owenvoorheis

Our next player announcement for the Unsigned Senior Showcase on March 29th! 🚨 Owen Voorheis (6’7 C, Normal West) is a big man that plays with a steady motor & rebounds his area well. Owen occupies space in the paint & shows capability to step out to the perimeter. by @owenvoorheis
