May 29, 2026. Delaney Hall - Newark, NJ.
I was filming a man playing the cello at the medic tent and I turned around and heard the police megaphone go off. Within minutes, the NJSP were charging at protesters in kettle formation. They marched toward us with their shields. They deployed tear gas, pepper balls, and tear gas. The threatened us with their guns and their war equipment that we pay for, because we stood in solidarity with those imprisoned unjustly at this concentration camp, those suffering the 7th day of a hunger strike.

Make no mistake. They want to kill us and they enjoy our fear. These words are not hyperbole, I have chosen them carefully. Go and see for yourself, the stench of malice in the place 13 miles from Manhattan.

Arianne Betancourt, daughter of Justo Betancourt, who was detained at Alligator Alcatraz for six and a half months, just tried to talk with Maria Elvira Salazar at a community event. Arianne wanted to know why Salazar never helped her dad, despite her pleading with her office to do so.

Now that it’s six weeks before the midterm election, Salazar is trying to shift with the political winds. But the reality is that she praised Alligator Alcatraz, saying in multiple interviews that it met the highest federal standards, which is a lie. She also called for a review of birthright citizenship, and has voted to give ICE billions of dollars. She’s no friend of immigrants. by @owlmedi4

Immigration

US Border Patrol agents traveling with the Florida Highway patrol detain a driver and direct a tow truck driver to tow the vehicle early in the morning.

A total of 5 stops with Border Patrol interactions were witnessed and according to anonymous sources at least a dozen were witnessed earlier in the morning.

This all comes after a flurry of reports from locals communities all over Florida have reported ICE detainments, inhumane conditions in processing centers and more.

I spent the day with Arianne Betancourt in the Everglades, visiting the site of what was once Alligator Alcatraz . We drove past the main gate, where the infamous sign once stood, and continued about four miles to the entrance.
We witnessed the empty airport runway, took photos, and stayed for about an hour. Arianne shared her journey since we met at a Sunday vigil months ago, when her father, Justo, was still detained.
Surrounded by mosquitoes and all kinds of insects we thought about the terrible conditions people may have endured inside the punishment cages, where reports indicated detainees were held for hours, restrained by chains and shackles like those securing the gate before us.
Arianne has dedicated herself to helping her father and countless other immigrant families. Her phone rang constantly with calls from inside Krome and FDC, from people seeking help with their cases.

For Arianne, the closure of Alligator Alcatraz is only a small victory.

Metropolitan Detention Center, Downtown Los Angeles, Labor Day.

When protesters arrived at 2:00pm, the gates on the driveways of the MDC were closed and padlocked, and the internal entrance gates were fully closed. Protesters gathered on Alameda holding signs, blowing bubbles, sharing food, and playing music until approx 6:30pm, when DHS suddenly emerged from the detention center in response to an individual spraying foam into the padlock and chain on one of the gates.

That individual fled the area, and the crowd followed DHS to document. DHS then turned aggressively on the crowd, arresting three. One person appeared to have been detained for simply yelling at an officer. Another was taken (as seen in this footage) after DHS struck her with their vehicle while her back was turned. They were later released on the Temple side of the complex.

One DHS Agent in particular, badge number 7P1576, was documented using excessive force against multiple protesters. He is seen here throwing one individual to the ground, and then immediately grabbing a woman by her throat and shoving her.

After the incident, the marks on her neck were clearly visible as she issued a safety announcement to the crowd on a megaphone.

Protesters and legal observers quickly exchanged footage, and by nightfall the incident had been widely reported across social media.

Felicitas and Gonzalo Mendez United States Courthouse, 09.21.2026. The family of Daniel Magaña demands answers after the 40-year-old father of 5, dies in LA County jail following repeated medical emergencies.

The family of Daniel Magaña together with lawyer @denisse_gastelum_esq held a press conference Monday to announce the presentation of a Government Claim arising from Daniel’s death after he suffered repeated medical emergencies while in the custody of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department at Twin Towers Correctional Facility.

The family says they have received conflicting accounts from County personnel and medical professionals about the injuries preceding his death, including one account describing injuries consistent with a fall, and another describing injuries consistent with asphyxiation.

Daniel was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and schizoaffective disorder and experienced symptoms of psychosis with suicidal ideation.

On Aug 21st Daniel was arrested by the LAPD, and transferred into Los Angeles County jail custody where he expressed suicidal ideations. The next day, Aug 22nd, Daniel suffered a medical emergency serious enough to require transport to Los Angeles General Medical Center.

He was subsequently returned to Twin Towers where he continued to express suicidal ideation.

Three days later, on Aug 25th, Daniel suffered another catastrophic medical emergency, was found unresponsive, and required approximately 15 minutes of resuscitation before he was intubated and transported to the hospital.

He never recovered.
Daniel Magaña died on September 5, 2026.

Random Frames in Bonita Springs

Members of the Hispanic community in Bonita Springs send anonymous messages expressing their fears of detainments and harassments — which, in turn stifles their freedom of movement in their own neighborhood.

They are terrified.

“Now it’s all the local police and the local police are ice“ stated Josie (not pictured) as he was referring to uptick of patrols and detainments.

“Everybody I know has people that are missing” he added.

Two other young anonymous teens stated a similar story.

“Lee County Sheriffs will patrol the neighbor hood until 10 pm stopping people on bikes and checking id’s” “I’ve been here my whole life and the last year has been really bad” she said.

MIAMI, FL — SEPTEMBER 15

Miami’s immigration court is manufacturing chaos to deny people due process — Judges regularly have a docket of over 100 people, seeing dozens of cases at once.⁠

This is creating chaotically long lines and waiting times making it hard for court notices to be sent in a timely manner and for people to find lawyers to represent them.

Those in line have to wait for hours while exposed to the elements, just today, an ambulance was called as people fainted due to the heat.”

A man is pulled over upon leaving church services a block away and is cuffed — placed into the service vehicle of the Lee County Sheriffs Office on Wednesday night at 9:00 p.m.

His family makes follow and arrives at the scene — distraught and in tears as they try to reason with law enforcement to release their father.

“Stand back or you’ll all get arrested” was declared by a deputy as he cited a violation of the Halo Law as a cause for potential arrest.

A RAISE trained legal observer was present and offered legal support to the family.

The man was driven off and no other arrests were made.

The LCSO is an active partner in the 287g program with is a multi-agency agreement to increase immigration enforcement as directed by the Florida Governor.

Frame 3: A separate incident which occurred in the parking lot of the Dollar General store located on Palm Beach Blvd.

A woman was stopped and her paperwork was checked by officers at the scene. She was not detained.
