Cut out distractions and focus. Every day, take one step towards discovering your faith. Do these things to get closer to God: 1. If you have doubts, keep asking questions. Don’t just accept the first answer you hear. 2. Listen to people who’ve healed, not those speaking from hurt. We all get hurt, but learn from those who’ve come out the other side. 3. Forgive yourself no matter what you did. You deserve to be happy and healthy. It’s OK to not be OK, but it’s not OK to stay that way. 15 minutes of honest conversation with Jesus a day can change your life forever. - Never stop asking questions. Never stop searching for truth. Never listen to advice that comes from a place of hurt. #Jesus #ownthelight #GodLovesYou #Faith by @ownthelight

did we just step into a new era with digital wedding invites? with our wedding only being a few months away Vitaly + I decided that creating a video would be an efficient + creative way to invite our guests. Inspired by Old Hollywood, we found this gorgeous train station and had our friend film on an IPhone :) @dimakovalchuk even though this was last minute we are so happy with how it turned out! + lastly Vitaly edited this entire video + surprised me with including my grandmas favorite song, At Last. Hope you enjoyed✨ by @ownthelight

I almost said no to the thing that changed my entire career. Years ago I was “just a photographer.” Knew how to frame a shot, light a scene, work with a model, and that was the box I lived in. Then a friend asked me to direct. My first answer? Absolutely not. Here’s what I learned when I said yes anyway: Your real skill isn’t your medium. It’s the way you see. The framing, the lighting, the eye for story, that travels. Photographer to director. Editor to creative director. Designer to founder. The label you gave yourself isn’t a ceiling unless you let it be. So if there’s a project that scares you a little — pitch it. Direct the commercial. Shoot the campaign. Take the leap. You probably already have what you need. Now go push yourself. 📍 Filmmaker + creative director based in Southern California by @ownthelight

Her words are music to my ears by @ownthelight
His plan is better than you imagine, just be patient. What feels like silence is Him lining things up you can’t yet see. What feels like delay is protection. What feels like the long way around is the road that’s quietly preparing you for what He already has waiting. God isn’t late. He’s thorough. The version of you that’s ready to receive the promise has to be built first and that kind of building takes time, surrender, and a whole lot of trust when nothing around you makes sense. Keep praying when the answers don’t come. Keep showing up when it feels like nobody sees. Keep believing when the timeline stops adding up. Because the season you’re in right now isn’t the end of the story. It’s the setup. #fx3 #faith by @ownthelight
