POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It is with shattered hearts that we share the devastating loss of our beloved colleague, resident artist, and dear friend, Lucas Dulio Imbrogno McKeown.

Lucas was the heartbeat of so much of what we do here at Otherworld. He was the ultimate hype man to anyone he met—someone whose presence could instantly lift your spirits. He welcomed you at the box office, monitored the space during the shows, built our stages from the ground up, and tore them down long after the music stopped. His care for this community was just as immense as his talent as a DJ and producer. His endless encouragement inspired dozens of people to start producing music and DJing themselves. Our music scene and the arts are stronger because of Lucas, and we will never forget his selflessness and compassion.

His family recently shared a beautiful tribute, and we want to honor their words:
"We his family are grieved to share that Lucas Dulio Imbrogno McKeown took his own life last week. Those who knew and loved him--and there were many--knew his big spirit, smiling face and creative talents as a dear friend, collaborator, mentor, and electronic dance music DJ/composer Lucas TheFlow, whose music has been heard on more than 30 small labels around the world. He also experienced dark times and mental health challenges which he bravely fought against, but which led to his passing. We ask that you lift up and pass forward the bright, big-spirited human soul he was for all of us who loved him so deeply."

To honor Lucas, we are asking the Otherworld Presents community to do exactly what his family has requested. Please lift up and pass forward the bright, big-spirited human soul he was for all of us who loved him so deeply. Check in on each other, take care of yourselves, and remember him through the music he left behind for us: https://soundcloud.com/lucastheflow

If you or someone you know is facing dark times, please remember you don't have to fight alone. Call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Help is available 24/7.

Rest easy, Lucas. Thank you for always looking out for us. We love you. by @owpresents

We've been keeping a massive secret, and it's finally time to let it out!
Columbus, this is officially the BIGGEST booking in Otherworld history. We are beyond hyped to announce that Jade Cicada is taking over the immersive dream realm on December 5, bringing mind-bending frequencies to the dance floor.
Joining him for this momnumental night of top-teir sound design are Alejo, Petals, and Popbot. If you know, you know--this lineup is absolutely stacked to the brim top to bottom.
Pairing Jade Cicada's unmatched audiovisual journey with Otherworld's interactive environment is going to be a milestone event you won't want to miss.

Tickets on sale 9/24 at 1 pm EST
