Catching a moment with @i.jordan during Simula Endzone, easily one of my favourites from my catalogue.

Honoured to have it alongside such top tier talent on the @he.she.they 5 year VA compilation 🫡

Speak2me was going to be the 3rd track on the Arps From Bardez EP that came out earlier this year. But when I got an invitation from @8bitculprit to be a part of the first @earthtapes_ compilation, something about this one felt like it was the right track for the label.

Artist Wellbeing is not singular.

It’s layered and complex, and it means something different to every artist. So we take a different approach, one that lets each artist find out what it means for them.

We’re so happy to have @anamcararetreats_in supporting us in building this part of the program, which is integral to everything we do. Together we bring in movement meditation, sound journeys, yoga, breathwork, meditation, and conversations that support an artist’s spiritual, physical, emotional and financial growth.

We’re also lucky to have friends like @gayatideman & @ox7gen who always support our cause.

Remember, the road to equilibrium is long, but the journey is the most interesting part. It’s where you get to know yourself truly, deeply and gently.

Who or what is Dan? What does he want from the 2 men? And what do they want from him?

You’ll probably have more questions than answers when part 2 drops in a couple of days, but it might help to re-watch part 1 and see if you catch anything new 👀 by @ox7gen

At number four, @ox7gen brings us Speak2Me.

Speak2Me introduces a more immediate energy to the compilation, driven by a tight rhythmic framework and a substantial low end. Electronic details move around the central groove, giving the track a restless quality while keeping its focus firmly on the dancefloor. It marks the point where the pace of Source Material starts to shift.

A lot of days doing this music thing feels like I’m gasping for air. Some days feel light as a feather, others like I’m treading water. Not much else I know how to do, so we keeping breathing and gliding and gasping, sometimes all at once.
