TFS will be running on Wednesday 28th of October from 2PM at Hackney City Farm. As the weather changes we’ll be hosting more often from the Strawbale room, where we ask our attendees to mask — but as always access to the whole farm is available 🪺🌳

Covid policy: We encourage masking throughout TFS. During our winter events in the Straw Bale room we require people to mask and hand out masks (excluding the Christmas Potluck in the Main Hall). In summer in the community garden we have a supply of masks to pick up to take or use. It is not mandatory to mask outside in the farm and garden — masking remains mandatory in the straw bale room (used as a quiet space) throughout the summer. We stock FFP2s - we also have antigen tests upon request — we encourage you to test before attending and to bring your own mask if you have one. Please do not attend if you are unwell. We encourage all attendees to take covid precautions seriously in solidarity with the health of visitors who may be vulnerable X

Jul 26 // climbed some traffic lights + lamp posts at trans pride, ended up at MOT Toilets once again, climbed some climbs, pushed crimetwinc_ on a zipline in their wedding dress, found Poldy + @emmafvsmith asleep by my bookshelves, separate Carringtons w @maisieoutoften + @nostalgia.nausea, found some original issues of Acephale at the BL, got flashbanged by Justin Broadrick, received a sweet note from a stranger by @oxbowblake

May 2026 // May is the month where my phone got stolen (i.e. left (by me (i.e. my fault)) on my front porch) but even if I didn't get photos whilst it was gone events did still keep happening and but so nevertheless still I got some photos of some things that happened and so here are those photos here by @oxbowblake

Spindrift (also, ‘spoondrift’): a continuous driving of sea spray, sand or snow.
‘Spindrift’: a word Hart Crane used in a poem six years before he jumped overboard into the Atlantic (‘the seal’s wide spindrift gaze toward paradise’).
Spindrift: at the stormy, clanking crossroads of noise, no wave, industrial, power electronics and techno, a woman in North London starts, slowly, to conjure Wittig’s gorgeous dream:

‘M/y most delectable one I set about eating you, m/y tongue moistens the helix of your ear delicately gliding around, m/y tongue inserts itself in the auricle, it touches the antihelix, m/y teeth seek the lobe, they begin to gnaw at it, m/y tongue gets into your ear canal. I spit, I fill you with saliva. Having absorbed the external part of your ear I burst the tympanum, I feel the rounded hammer bone rolling between m/y lips, m/y teeth crush it, I find the anvil and the stirrup-bone, I crunch them, I forage with m/y fingers, I wrench away a bone, I fall on the superb cochlea bone and membrane all wrapped round together, I devour them, I burst the semicircular canals, I study the interior of your cheek, I look at you from inside yourself, I lose myself, I go astray…’

Jan 2026 // Climbed Estrella Polar on Frontales in El Churro (240m; very big; possibly got stuck at summit after sundown and had to be retrieved (rescued)), also the year started, also went outside saw people held some books, was the +1 at a Scrabble Tournament, etc by @oxbowblake
