We ❤️ the sound of market day: The joyful hustle and bustle. The audible excitement and energy. The exuberent chatter between shoppers and farmers who over the years become friends. The connections we make at the market are so dear to us! Come be part of this very special community every Tuesday afternoon at OXCM. ❤️ by @oxcm

We’re gonna put it to you plain: Your farmers need you right now, maybe more than ever. The market is bursting at the seams with the bounty of fall - all we’re missing is y’all! Following a historically busy summer, we’ve seen a drop in customer traffic. We understand that times are tough but if you can put a few dollars in the hands of these hard working farmers this afternoon at OXCM, well, we’d be mighty grateful. Sustaining our local food system is a team sport and it’s time to rally, y’all!

Creating a community of care: Chicory called today with a bunch of tailgating trays that needed a place to go…Enter OXCM Community Connections Coordinator Miss Verna Stokes who picked up the trays and made deliveries around town including a stop at the veterans’ home! Thank you, @chicorymarket and Miss Verna for helping feed the community while reducing food waste. ❤️ by @oxcm

Telling our story together: The OXCM Community Timeline Project!!! Our friends at @southernstudies and @southfoodways envisioned a beautiful, interactive way to capture the history of our community market! Over the years, we’ve watched businesses launch (and thrive), couples meet, babies grow up, students graduate, friendships form, and countless (COUNTLESS) connections made - all part of what makes OXCM feel like home to so many of us. Come join us tomorrow from 3-6:30 pm at the Old Armory Pavilion and add your OXCM story to the timeline! by @oxcm

We had so much fun curating “The Art of Building Community” room with our cool and talented friends @cattywampusvintage and @msgardengallery at the 19th Annual Motel Art Show! The collab featured handmade OXCM-inspired functional art by @angel.morgan, Cattywampus’s killer vintage western-wear collection, a 10-year retrospective of original OXCM poster art, a spread of OXCM goodies and beautiful heirloom quilts. Outside of the room, guests were invited to participate in OXCM’s 2026 community art project desired by Angel. The depicts a handmade quilt to symbolize how our market “stitches” our community together. Thank you, @erinaustenabbott, for the opportunity to be part of this Oxford tradition!! ❤️ by @oxcm

The sweet kids from @grovegrocery visit OXCM very Tuesday to stock the campus pantry with farm fresh goodness! We ❤️ that @olemiss students are working with us to provide nutritious local food for the university community!! by @oxcm
