PAREIDOLIA

Pareidolia is a variable typeface designed to react to people’s expressions. Each character evolves in various ways through sound intensity, representing a palette of emotions. Similar to how a typeface consists of various styles and weights, Pareidolia showcases a font’s ability to influence perception and the meaning of a word by focusing on human feelings.

The project aims to bridge rational systems and human behavior. By designing this variable typeface, the goal was to create a tool that adds an extra layer to text-based communication, offering those who struggle a new way to express their emotions. taken in Central Saint Martins by @oxnam.work

Visual identity and space design for Soil, Toil & Table at the Lethaby Gallery.

Curated in collaboration with @lethabygallery , the exhibition explores the vital relationship between soil, food, and sustainability through the creative practices of Central Saint Martins staff, students, and alumni. With over 70 works on display, the exhibit reimagines natural produce, food culture, and waste renewal while addressing critical issues such as soil degradation and industrialised food systems.

Graphic elements evoke the four exhibition sections, representing Cultivation, Culture, Dining and Renewal. It has been an incredible experience contributing to an exhibition that champions sustainability, creativity, and the human-nature bond.

We Are What We Eat

By examining the creation of modern canteens, this publication reflects on the life of my grandmother, who worked as a nutritionist for 18 schools across Rutland and Leicestershire. The work blends personal history with cultural context to produce a publication that reconsiders our evolving understanding of health in the workplace and the role of nutrition in enhancing productivity.

Excited to share what I’ve been working on since March - Born out of my final major project at CSM and bought to life with a spectacular team of friends, I’d like to share our upcoming exhibition

Soil, Toil & Table 🌾

An exhibition in collaboration with @lethabygallery curated by and featuring CSM Staff, Students and Alumni.

“There are no shortcuts in the soil,” the old saying goes—a truth as ancient as agriculture itself. The health of the land shapes the wellbeing of all it sustains. What’s on our plates reflects weathered hands, natural cycles, and lifetimes of care. Yet, as urban life drifts further from the farms that feed us, this wisdom risks fading away.

This exhibition reimagines produce through a radical lens on the human-nature bond. Exploring the web from soil to supermarket and beyond, it examines land cultivation, food culture, dining choices, and waste renewal.

As cities grow, farmland shrinks, and one-third of the world’s soil degrades, food is increasingly industrial. Featuring over 70 works from Central Saint Martins creatives, this exhibition combines heritage and bold ideas for the future.

Dig deeper, question, and carry forward the belief that the strength of our food—and ourselves—begins with the soil beneath our feet.

This publication is a continuity of the typeface "Pareidolia", offering a theoretical perspective and explanation to the research behind the project.

It presents an essay on our ability to evoke emotions through graphic elements and our quest for universality in design, in what I call “Irrational Systems” taken in Central Saint Martins by @oxnam.work

This small brochure is a homage to Dutch typeface designer Martin Majoor and his work for the Muziekcentrum Vredenburg. The risograph-printed work explores the history of the venue as well as the designed typeface FF Scala.

At the back of the unfolded piece, a small game was designed to make the audience reproduce one of FF Scala’s letters based on instrument sounds that are referring to the Dutch venue’s musical history. taken in Central Saint Martins by @oxnam.work
