Just a girl with big dreams ✨! Seriously though, Kanye was always such an inspiration for me growing up and knowing that his story was so similar to mine drove me 10x’s harder. Sometimes you’ve got to get real delusional about your goals and believe that what God has for you no man can ever take away! So here’s my reminder to keep going & stay tru to YOU✨✨. Video shot on VHS by @kylamaeo Studio sessions with @talaya.music I’ll be posting more from my studio sessions leading up to the album 🫶🏾 by @oyastorms
1 week ago today I got a voicemail from @elijahllewis206 telling me I need to start singing and doing more community events.. My bro spoke so much life into me last Thursday and Friday… I responded back to him “I am bro! I’m singing at the @blacknightmarket this weekend, slide thru if you can.” This whole week has truly been a blur for me and so many others in community. The key thing that has been holding me and keeping me positive is that I know my brother would want us to continue the work that we do and continue to take up space TOGETHER. My sweet friend was all about unity and bringing people together for a bigger picture. With everything going on, I hope we can all rise from the pain and hurt to continue out his legacy/ OUR legacy. We are 100% stronger together than we are separated. I pray we rise unafraid, I pray we rise through the ache and lastly I hope we always remember the fight is OURS. You are not alone and we can move mountains… We WILL move mountains. Thank god for my angel above @elijahllewis206 coming down to bless me and lace me with unmeasurable wisdom✊🏾. Go check out @thecovenantwa page to help keep Elijah’s movement & momentum alive. Legends never die! Bro was our @nipseyhussle in many ways fr 🤲🏾❤️ by @oyastorms

He’s mine 🥹🧸✨ Vulnerability post: I never fully understood the sacrifices women make mentally and physically to become mothers until I started becoming one myself. The choice to fail doesn’t really feel like an option anymore. Every day becomes a reason to wake up and create a better life for someone you’ve never met but already love so much. Protecting a child’s future doesn’t start when they get here, it starts the moment you find out about them. As I’m getting closer to the end of my pregnancy, I’ve realized how strong I really am and how blessed I am to have been chosen by my baby boy. He’s given me a different type of push. As an artist, it’s easy to lose inspiration, but the most inspiring thing that’s happened to me has been my son. Creating has been intentional these days. Every move I make feels like it has purpose behind it. Every goal feels a little bigger because it’s no longer just about me anymore. Sometimes your purpose doesn’t find you until someone gives you a reason to become more than who you’ve been. Photos by @sol.moravia Happy September ✨✨ by @oyastorms
Cool boy mom loading 🤎✨🧸… As an artist creating great work comes natural to me.. However, this tops any project I’ve ever created 😎. I’ve been the most creative I’ve ever been truth be told. New blessings come each week and more will continue✨! A few weeks left before baby boy comes 🫶🏾. Thanks to @sol.moravia for capturing such beautiful photos 🥹. #thirdtrimester by @oyastorms
I’ve spent so much of my life trying to write the story exactly as I imagined it. Then life taught me that some chapters aren’t ours to write. Some arrive through heartbreak. Some through endings we never asked for. Some force us to meet versions of ourselves we didn’t know existed. And somehow, through it all, I kept creating. Turning pain into music, memories into art, and lessons into something worth carrying forward. Lately, I’ve been learning to put the pen down sometimes and let life write. Because perhaps the most beautiful chapter of my story is the one I never could’ve written for myself. 🤎🫧🌱🧸 Shot so beautifully by @sol.moravia Cheers to new beginnings ✨ by @oyastorms
Just a girl and her love for art 🥰✨ by @oyastorms
Fun story: Both songs “Just Us” & “Pack-Light” from my recent album Saudade: The Love That Remains were completely freestyled in these moments. Looking back, I’m glad I went back in and changed a few lyrics, but these clips really captured exactly how I felt at the time. No writing. No plan. Just me in my room making songs out of whatever I was feeling. Kinda crazy these moments turned into real songs people know now 🤍 by @oyastorms
During the making of my album Saudade: The Love That Remains I was dealing with a bitter ex that honestly made creating this project feel so heavy at times behind the scenes. What’s crazy is Pack Light came from that exact moment in my life. After 5 years I finally decided to leave the relationship, pack my bags, and not look back. At the time I was hurt BAD 😭 like genuinely sad and questioning myself every day. leaving somebody you built a whole life around is not easy no matter how toxic it gets. But looking back now… Leaving was probably the best decision I ever made for myself. It was the beginning of me finding myself again, standing on my worth, and realizing I deserved peace too. This album really holds pieces of every version of me during that time.. Hurt, angry, confused, healing, growing… All of it. If you’ve ever had to leave something you loved just to save yourself… This album is for you 🤍 Saudade: The Love That Remains — link in bio 🕊️ #saudade #oyastorms by @oyastorms
Thank you all for the birthday wishes and for streaming my album Saudade 💐🕊️ 28 feels like the beginning of a new era. A moment to finally live unapologetically, love louder, and trust myself more deeply than ever before. I’m sharing some of the moments that led up to this beautiful project being released, because this album holds pieces of me I used to be afraid to show. Thank you for listening, supporting, reposting, crying, healing, and growing with me. This is only the beginning! +1 🎈 Link in bio to stream the Album by @oyastorms
