Dearest Hope Oyeima Rachael Oluwadarre Ayeni 🥰 You've grown to be a beautiful and thoughtful woman. Full of Love for God and Men, you've evolved overtime and to be honest, I am proud of the woman you're becoming. This year has been a rollercoaster of emotions, but notwithstanding, Christ has been my Shield and Anchor. I am grateful for the lives I've impacted and those that God has helped me to be a blessing in their lives. Indeed, what gain is it of we can't give out what we've gotten? Super grateful for my Families, siblings, friends and Brethren. You all have been keeping me going through it all. I have been greatly helped by God. He has been my banner and provided. He has covered me with his wings, I have come boldly before his presence and never have I been ashamed. Christ has been my rock and my pillar, as I celebrate this day, I celebrate the grace, confidence and privilege I have to be called the Daughter of the most high God. Happy Birthday Hope Oyeima Rachael Oluwadarre Ayeni 🥳🥳.. Cheers to a new season White Angel 😂😂 Welcome to your season of Crowning (Zech 3:1-5). Grateful for how far God has carried me thru this year 🙏 🙌 😘😘😍 #reelsinstagram by @oye_ima
A friend told me something recently. He said, “Hope, you’re doing well for yourself at this age.” And honestly, that statement stayed with me. Mind you, it came right after I told him my age. As much as I appreciate the compliment, deep down, I still feel like I haven’t done enough yet. There’s still so much I want to achieve, so many goals I’m working towards, and so many dreams still unfolding. But hearing those words made me pause for a moment and realize something important; people around me actually see the effort. They see the consistency, the growth, the hard work, and how much I pour myself into everything I do. Especially the people who have known me for years… they can truly see how far I’ve come and how much I’ve grown in different areas of my life. And while I know I’m not where I want to be yet, I’m genuinely grateful for every little step forward, every lesson, every opportunity, and how far God has brought me. I’m also grateful to everyone who saw even the tiniest light in me and decided to give me a chance. Thank you. As one of my bosses calls me, “Star girl”; that’s who I am. And as my parents always say, “You’re a great child”; that’s who I am too. Sometimes, we’re so focused on where we’re trying to get to that we forget to acknowledge how far we’ve already come. So tell me… when last did you pause to appreciate your own growth? 👗 @marteez_luxe by @oye_ima
As this month comes to an end, I’ve made a conscious decision to remain in a posture of gratitude to God. I’ve realized that gratitude isn’t about having everything figured out or everything going perfectly. Sometimes, it’s simply about pausing and reminding yourself of what you do have;family, friends, health, a job, people who show up for you… the list is actually endless when you think about it. But let me be honest, some weeks ago, it didn’t feel like that. I entered this year with debts… something that is very unlike me. On top of that, there were other financial responsibilities waiting to be handled. It got overwhelming. There was pressure from different angles, and for someone like me who doesn’t like asking for help, it felt even heavier. I wanted to come out of it on my own. I wanted to be debt-free. One night, in the middle of all the worry and anxiety, God nudged my heart: “Write everything down.” So I did. Every expense. Every debt. Everything. When I saw the total, I was honestly shaken. I remember thinking, “God, how is this even possible?” But in that moment, I prayed and handed it all over to Him. Two days later, I was in church for an evening service, and God spoke to me through the pastor. He said: “I know you’re busy, but stop worrying. Instead, take every opportunity to worship and praise God.” That word hit me deeply. I didn’t argue. I didn’t overthink it. I just entered into worship. And something shifted. Within two weeks, about 80% of everything I had written down was sorted. Just like that. The remaining 20%? I’m still trusting God with it; but now, I have peace. This experience reminded me so clearly of God’s promise; to give rest to those who are weary and burdened. I chose to stop focusing on the weight of the problem and fix my gaze on Him… and He showed up for me. So yes, I’m grateful. Not because everything is perfect, but because God is faithful. Always. 🙏✨ #grateful #explorepage✨ #lovehim by @oye_ima
The growth of the recycling industry in Africa depends not only on behavioral change, but also on the power of innovation and technology to make recycling easier, scalable, and even enjoyable. At Ecobarter, we are leveraging technology to drive this transformation across Nigeria and beyond. From building Africa’s first Reverse Vending Machine to rewarding users through the Ecobarter app/pay system, we are demonstrating that innovation is a key driver of sustainable impact. I’m delighted to be invited by the RecycleUp Innovation Programme as a facilitator in their ongoing Second Advanced Workshop Series, where I will be speaking on “Sustainable Innovation and Recycling Technologies.” Kindly check the flyer for more details and information on how to register. Looking forward to sharing insights, learning, and contributing to the future of recycling in Africa. by @oye_ima
Today at EFInA, one thing stayed with me: Women are already doing the work; building, saving, trading, growing. The system is just trying to catch up. From the conversations I heard, it wasn’t about lack of ambition. It was about access, trust, and flexibility. Many women are still outside formal finance, not by choice, but because it doesn’t fit how they live and work. So they lean on what community, trust and systems like adashe and ajo. It made me rethink the question. Maybe it’s not about bringing women into existing systems, but about designing systems that actually reflect their realities. At Ecobarter, this feels very real. When people are met where they are, when participation is simple and trust is built in; everything changes. That’s where the real opportunity is. Not just inclusion, but intentional design. Because when we give women and allow them to grow, systems don’t stay the same. #IWD2026 #GiveToGain by @oye_ima
