THE GREATEST HOMECOMING OF YORÙBÁ HERITAGE IN RECENT HISTORY IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN!

This is not hype. This is not noise. This is BRAGADOSKI backed by history, culture and undeniable legacy!

Ọ̀yọ́ has repeatedly shown the world that the Yorùbá people possess an ancient administrative structure that has stood the test of time. From governance and diplomacy to language, human relations and the cherished values of Ọmọlúàbí, the spirit of Yorùbá civilisation remains deeply rooted in Ọ̀yọ́.

Motherland Reality Television has documented this legacy from the remarkable reign of the late His Imperial Majesty, Ikú Bàbá Yèyé, Ọba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, to the historic emergence and coronation of His Imperial Majesty, Ikú Bàbá Yèyé, Ọba Abimbola Akeem Owoade I, Aláàfin of Ọ̀yọ́.

The transition itself sent a powerful message: Ọ̀yọ́ is ready to reclaim, reconnect and reintroduce the greatness many believed had been lost.

Now imagine descendants of the ancient Ọ̀yọ́ Empire returning from different parts of Nigeria, the Republic of Benin and across the world for one unforgettable cultural homecoming.

OYO EMPIRE DAY 2026!

If you are planning to attend, book your accommodation early. We experienced the energy of the Aláàfin’s coronation firsthand, and Oyo Empire Day is preparing to return on an even greater scale.

Motherland Reality Television is fully ready, fully geared up and prepared to promote the Oyo Empire Day experience to its fullest!
