My sisterband @silverliningnorway is releasing new music and I’m sooo proud❤️

In 1 month our album «Bygones» will be out and I just love it! It was soooo much fun working on it with the band and producer extrodinare @oyvind_blom 🌟🤝

The new singles was written by me and for a long time I thought the songs belonged to The Northern Belle, but after jamming with Silver Lining it all fell into place. And the coverart by @malinpettersenmusic and the photos by @juliamarienagle is giving me soooo much joy! Look at thoses cuties🥹🐴

I’ve been testing @stringjoy strings all summer and they feel really, really good. I have been loving the 11-48 Broadways on all my electrics for festival shows.

With @orionsbelte I only travel with one guitar, my hand built Tele with flatwounds. I never break any strings, so flats are perfect. Only issue I have with most flatwounds sets are that they feel too bass heavy for me, and if I want to be able to do certain bends I also have to change the G to a lighter gauge than most sets with flats.

I heard from the guys at Stringjoy that they were working on their flatwound sets so I also got to test the Flyers and they sounded amazing right out of the box. Most flats takes a while to break in and can sound really harsh in the beginning. After discussing a bit back and forth, I asked if they could put together a set of Broadways 11-48, only with the THREE BASS STRINGS as flats. They were generous enough to make me some sets of this specification and I must say it is my favourite string set ever. Bassy, with all the characteristics of a set of flats, but the playability of a more conventional set of «rock strings» - just what I have been dreaming of for years.

The gauges are: 0.11 0.14 0.18P 0.28 0.38 0.48 with the three heaviest being flatwound.

Thanks for giving me this opportunity, Stringjoy! by @oyvind_blom

Mange fine folk involvert:
