Today, I swatched a collection of Sailor Manyo inks on two A5 notebooks I recently got: Bettino and Yusari.

•Bettino has cream paper (slightly whiter than HB Weeks), 100gsm, with dot. The paper doesn’t feather, ghost, or bleed, even with a lot of ink. Shading and sheening appear quite well.

•Yusari has white paper, 100gsm, with a grid. The paper feathers with wet inks and shows some ghosting and bleeding if wet ink is applied. Shading is fine, but sheening is harder to see.

Getting ready for Tet - Lunar New Year. My husband and I went shopping for some new outfits. Despite not planning to buy clothes much, I ended up really liking and being satisfied with everything. We got some great deals on the sales🤞
At the beginning of the month, I've also been busy preparing for the worship of the Kitchen God (a Vietnamese tradition). Despite a mix of emotions, overall, I feel comfortable and happy😊🤟 by @oz.corner

Last week was a really busy one for me. Lots of meet-ups with friends who love tarot and journaling, plus new cafés, bakeries, and an exhibition to explore. After a whole quiet month, this was probably my most productive week 🥹
I also got to play with some new PET tapes. These gave me so much inspiration. Everything felt a little more exciting again, even though it’s been raining all day here.

De Atramentis is still my favorite waterproof ink. The colors and overall quality are great, but this Blue Black formula really disappointed me this time.
It soaks into the paper way too quickly, which makes it prone to feathering and even bleeding, even on thick papers even like Midori. 🥲

I’ve been struggling a lot lately between spending my mornings alone like usual, or meeting friends and talking about all the things going on in life, which honestly I don’t really care about anymore 🫠🤦‍♀️
I know they care about how I’m doing and just want to check in on me, but most of the time I just end up ghosting them🥹😬 I know it’s kind of rude, but I honestly don’t know how to reply without getting stuck in a conversation I don’t know how to end. 😬

After two weeks of diving into my new planner, here’s my review 🥰
Honestly, I was a little stuck at first because the Magnet Planner from @aura.estelle brought so many new things to my planning routine. After sorting through all my thoughts, this is the clearest review I can give.

After using 75gsm paper, I found that adding too many stickers made the writing surface quite bumpy and uncomfortable. Moving to 52gsm paper makes this much less annoying for me.

How this ghost 👀

The changes may look small, but they make a surprisingly big difference and really encourage my creativity.

The tracker section has made me much more excited to use my planner.

A space for journaling and being creative 🥰

I’ve used a B6 Take a Note before, but it doesn’t offer the same Horizontal and Vertical options. With Aura Estella, I can choose whichever layout fits me better. I’m also curious to try the Week size.

And I really love their slim tabs, they look so clean and neat.

The main thing to consider is probably the price. It’s definitely on the little higher side compared with other brands, but there are sales, and if the planner genuinely fits your needs, I think it’s worth considering. ✨

I want to use it throughout 2027 and see how well the cover, binding, paper and overall construction hold up after a full year.
So this is only the beginning.
