New Shoes!! 🚨
IMO, Style 65s cannot be beat - but period correct aftermarket rims are my weakness and the OZ Racing lineup makes my top three #1. Futura #2. Mito #3. PG1/Pegasus……I’ve got 2/3 so I guess the hunt for a set of Mitos begins. (special mention to Racing Dynamics RD2 - and the holy grail, BBS RE88 🏆) by @oz_m5

One of these cars was the fastest sedan on the planet - with a 0-100 through a 6-speed manual in the low 5 second range. It was also considered a luxury sedan by size and standard…………25 years later the benchmark is 0-100 in 2.1…….and it has a one speed transmission, and is twice the size and weight of the relatively diminutive e39. by @oz_m5

Rolled it out of the garage. Reversed it back in. Another 10m on the odometer ….😪need to get the Benz off the hoist so I can dial in the KWs by @oz_m5

Hunted for a Strong Strut tower brace for about a year before getting lucky on eBay (they’re NLA).
Had it cleaned up and powder coated by my guy @tpperformancecoatings and it came out better than new. by @oz_m5

I know this is my M5 account, and some @bmw fans have no time for @mercedesbenz enthusiasts - but this car is so old it ain’t hurting anybody. Just look at it. When released in Australia, it had an rrp of 249k AUD, adjusted for inflation nearly 500k AUD. I don’t get to drive it enough, but - I can’t let it go. by @oz_m5
