VENUE CHANGE ➡️ There’s been a change for this Saturday’s match locations. Each team is still playing at the same time, just swapping which HS they’re playing at. So, take note if you’re planning to come out this weekend to cheer on the squad 🔥

What Is Issue 3?

Issue 3 is an upcoming ballot measure up for vote on November 3’d for all of Arkansas. If passed, it would give Arkansas communities access to locally controlled economic development tools that have been available and in use in 48 other states for many years.

Text on image:

How Would Issue 3 Work?

If passed, Arkansas communities could choose to establish locally controlled economic development districts to help bring a wide variety of projects that they want to see become a part of their region.

The incremental future tax revenue generated as a result of those new projects within these districts can be used as a means for
communities to help provide financing for those projects to help bring them to fruition.

Ensures local control, transparency, and oversight by requiring public hearings, audits, and public reports to disclose where money is being spent.

Text on image:

Benefits Of Issue 3:

Attract new jobs and business investments to Arkansas communities

Fund better roads and other essential infrastructure

Develop closer medical facilities and other vital community services

Build more housing and bring in much-needed grocery stores

Create safer neighborhoods through community revitalization

Text on image:

What A “YES” Vote For Issue 3 Is NOT:

• Does NOT impose a tax increase

• Does NOT allow the use of eminent domain
to support any districts of projects

• Does NOT automatically establish any economic development districts

• Does NOT automatically approve any project’s financial plans

Arkansas Wins
ISSUE 3

• 48 states already have comparable tools that allow them to compete for investment and opportunity

• These tools have been in use for decades by other states

• Arkansas has been losing out without these tools by @ozarkunitedfc
