Just tackled the Ozarks BDR-X over the last few days with one other person, @j_dietrich1 What a blast and challenge. 480 mile loop around the Ozarks. We hit all of the Hard Alt lines and dealt with everything from the dustiest and driest of conditions to full on pouring rain. Our entire trip totaled 790 miles with the trip down and back from Northwest Arkansas, plus all of the riding around to find gas, food and beer after “riding” was over for the night. It’s a different world out there, some of the prettiest country and the most wildlife I’ve ever seen on a trip. (Deer, mountain lion, bobcat, wild turkeys, and more). We saw waterfalls, lookouts that went out for eternity, and rock formations out of this world. Met some awesome people along the way (and some not so awesome, lol) but overall a great trip. Now looking at the next BDR to hit - maybe Texas? I would love to make some adjustments or recommendations for the map so anyone that’s headed out let me know and I’ll offer some trip recommendations. *Few things to note: the shops “closed on Sundays” are actually open. And the ones that are open, really aren’t lol. Buffalo Outdoor Center has the best food out there from a gas station (other than the Oark and Ozark Cafe staples of course) and JB Trading Co. has literally everything you might need on your trip. Dry counties everywhere so beer is gold 🤣 #ozarksbdrx #arkansas #motocamping #crf300l #honda by @ozcyclist
