DISTORTED. The body is familiar. The form is not. This editorial explores the human silhouette as something that can be stretched, compressed, fractured and rebuilt. What began with Favour Blues’ physicality was pushed further through light, styling and digital manipulation until the body became something between anatomy and abstraction. The lime-green light creates the environment. The poses create the geometry. Photoshop breaks the rules. The result is a study of tension, between what the body naturally is and what it can become inside an image. BOBZOMYA Bobzomya also known as Bobby occupies a particularly interesting position within the project because he exists on both sides of the creative process.
