🇮🇹 testo italiano nei commenti 👇 🇬🇧 I’m thrilled to share my latest work, “Three Graces and Two Musicians,” a mural entirely created with spray cans on the façade of the Giacomo Bresadola Middle School in Trento. This piece was part of the collective exhibition “Allegory of Public Happiness” at the Galleria Civica di Trento, curated by Gabriele Lorenzoni.A heartfelt thank you to the curator, Gabriele Lorenzoni for the invitation, the Galleria Civica, the Municipality of Trento, Studio d'Arte Raffaelli, and Jacopo Gennari. Special thanks to the Giacomo Bresadola Middle School for hosting this mural, integrating the theme of public happiness with the school’s musical direction. 🙏🙏🙏During those tense days i would like to post one of the best wall i made in East Europe, in Latvia, in the city of Liepaja, on the coastline near Riga, for enduring freedom of eastern countries 🇱🇻🇪🇪🇱🇹🇺🇦
@liepajalv it's now a touristic city, ex military strategical for northen sea, because ice don't freeze the piers. I was in contact with old friend Mark from @redmonkeylodge @redmonkeyliepaja , who connected with big boy @mareks.alberts from @redsunbuffet the coolest beach bar there. They arranged me a cool apartment, a fridge full of beer and even a cool bike 💥. Project was , as usual to work site specific, so i mixed different inspirations for this big 200sq mt artwork: Poseidon from famous fountain in Bologna, eolo blowing wind, the sea and waves, making Liepaja the best northern spot for surf and kite surfing. I added the symbols of independence and freedom of Latvia, Milda with three stars from the monumebt made after the 1919 war https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom_Monument
I made the whole wall with spraycans, going crazy for all those hairs! My God i went crazy doing every single hair with skinny cap 😂. Btw the girl i took as Milda it's a famous teenager singer. Maybe someone recognize her: just tag her 😉🤲👌 by @ozmone

I was invited by the associazione DaSud to make an intervention in
their headquarters and home of the project 'AP-Popular
Academy of anti-mafia and rights'. The mural aspires to
reflect the complexity and depth of the objectives of
both the school and daSud, association known for its
commitment to the socio-cultural contrast of mafias
and the promotion of civil rights. I hope this painting will
leave an impression that will inspire all the people who
cross the threshold of the building: not only on the
physical wall but also in the minds and hearts of all
those who will be part of it.

SOPHIA: The Artwork
The work is a synergistic fusion of visual and textual
elements. Sophia, depicted and represented as a
goddess, appears veiled and with a book in her hand.
His face, austere but sweet, is turned towards the book
as if immersed in a deep reflection or a dream. An
orange spiral unfolds from the book and is in perfect
harmony with the mission of the school and the
association wants to symbolize development,
dynamism, cyclical continuity, energy expansion, and the
infinite movement of life.

The work is also a tribute to the city of Rome, a
metropolis rich in symbolism and history, which like the
spiral, is in continuous expansion and transformation.
Between the spiral and the book, a perfect sphere
emerges as a catalyst element that unifies and
enhances the various symbols and themes present in
the work. This perfect geometric shape alludes to
harmony and balance, acting as a bridge between the
infinite wisdom of Sophia and the dynamic spiral of
growth. In this way, the sphere not only justifies the
formal and competitive weight but represents the
Platonic ideal of perfection and universality,
emphasizing the interconnectedness between
knowledge, growth, and unity
Ipncorporated in the work is the quote "Everyone grows
only if dreamed" by Danilo Dolci, which serves as an
additional defining parameter, emphasizing the essence
and the activities of both the Association daSud and IIS
Enzo Ferrari.

Per Ozmo, uno di quei volti anni ’80 ha rappresentato un incontro piuttosto memorabile.

Dietro ogni sua opera c'è un luogo da ascoltare, una storia da interpretare, un simbolo dimenticato che torna a vivere attraverso nuovi colori e nuove forme.

È proprio questo il suo messaggio più potente: ogni angolo di strada custodisce già la propria identità, l'arte pubblica è capace di farla emergere e restituirla alle persone.

OZMO × LIA30 — Inside the Collection: four new works, born from a dialogue with the Museo Lia collection, enter its collection!
Alongside them, twelve works from my personal archive are installed through the museum to contextualize my research.
The exhibition also includes a visual timeline, tracing the path from early signs and public art to the current dialogue with art history.

OZMO X LIA 30. Dentro la collezione

Il Museo Lia compie 30 anni, e dal 3 luglio al 3 dicembre 2026 arriva “OZMO X LIA 30. Dentro la collezione”, il nuovo progetto espositivo, curato da Andrea Marmori e Anna Costantini, che mette in dialogo i capolavori della collezione permanente con il linguaggio contemporaneo di OZMO, tra i più importanti protagonisti dell’arte pubblica internazionale.

Per il Museo Lia, l’artista ha realizzato quattro opere inedite, ispirate ad altrettanti capolavori della collezione. Le nuove tele entreranno a far parte del patrimonio civico, arricchendo la collezione con uno sguardo contemporaneo e creando un ponte tra passato e presente.

Un percorso che trasforma il museo in uno spazio di confronto, ricerca e nuove interpretazioni, nel segno della continua vitalità dell’arte.

Ozmo entra nella squadra degli speaker del Timeless Festival 2026! 🚀

Domenica 14 giugno, i talk escono dal teatro e arrivano al mare. A Portovenere, davanti alla splendida cornice della chiesa di San Pietro, Ozmo porterà il racconto della sua street art fuori dai confini tradizionali.

Avete mai visto la sua versione della Creazione di Adamo dipinta sulle pareti di una cava di marmo a Carrara?
O attraversato Milano imbattendovi nei giganteschi murales, partendo da quelli sui muri del Leoncavallo?

Tra i pionieri dell’arte pubblica italiana, Ozmo (Gionata Gesi) ha trasformato muri e spazi urbani in opere capaci di dialogare con la storia dell’arte, l’iconografia classica e l’esoterismo. Presente nell’Enciclopedia Treccani, nel corso della sua carriera ha esposto e collaborato con istituzioni internazionali come il Museo del Novecento, il MACRO, la Biennale di Venezia e l’Istituto Italiano di Cultura di New York. Oggi vive e lavora a Parigi.

La sua ricerca e il suo continuo processo di reinterpretazione ci ricorda che anche la creatività può diventare un modo per rileggere il mondo e immaginare nuovi punti di vista.

🌸 Alle 15.46 di ieri, venerdì 20 marzo, l’equinozio ci ha fatti entrare ufficialmente nella stagione della rinascita. Nelle Alpi - e anche in Valle Camonica - questo tempo è legato anche alla figura antica e misteriosa dell’Uomo Selvatico.

Tra l'umano e il ferino, custode dei boschi e dei saperi, è stato per secoli il maestro delle genti di montagna, colui che insegnava a leggere i segni del tempo, a vivere degli alpeggi, a trasformare il latte, a sopravvivere in quota. Un essere schivo, a tratti benevolo, a tratti severo. Sempre sul confine tra il mondo umano e quello naturale.

Si racconta che, con l’arrivo dell’inverno, scompaia tra le vette e che sia proprio in questi giorni - con il ritorno della primavera - che torni a farsi vedere.

Il suo ritorno era il segnale atteso: la neve si scioglie, i pascoli si riaprono, la vita ricomincia.

👉 Ancora oggi la sua presenza attraversa storie, racconti e immagini del territorio.
Come nell’opera “Il Barbaluf o Uomo Selvaggio o San Glisente o Sant’Onofrio o Uomo Primitivo” realizzata sulla facciata della Casa del Parco di Vezza d’Oglio nel 2016 nell'ambito del progetto Wall in Art dall’artista OZMO, dove il mito dell’Uomo Selvatico incontra l'arte pubblica contemporanea e ci interroga sul nostro rapporto con la Natura. taken in Casa del Parco dell'Adamello di Vezza d'Oglio by @ozmone

🇬🇧🗿✨ “Stele 3 Sud” – a 4 000-year-old guardian restored

When I first stood before the original slab in the museum it looked cracked and forlorn, waiting to speak again. I digitally redraw every carving (swipe the 9 photos📷...until the last video! 🎥), restored with cutting edge technology, then repainted her at monumental scale on the wall of Cerlogne School, directly opposite the megalithic field some archaeologists call our northern Stonehenge...🪨

Diadem, armour, squared arms, belt, robe—each mark carved by prehistoric hands is now magnified for today’s pupils on their way to class. The stele stands as a sentry, safeguarding Aosta’s deep memory while urging us to look ahead.

✨ Svelato il primo murale di @ozmone per #AOSTAE2025 : il dio Giano Bifronte prende vita sulla Scuola Primaria “Giovanni Pezzoli”.

In occasione dei 2050 anni dalla fondazione di Aosta, il pioniere della street art interpreta la storia e la cultura della città con un linguaggio contemporaneo.
Il secondo intervento sarà dedicato alla stele antropomorfa del III millennio a.C., custodita al @megamuseoaosta.

La città di Aosta è teatro di una operazione artistica di grande profilo in occasione di AOSTAE 2025, il palinsesto di eventi organizzato per celebrare il 2050° anniversario della fondazione della città, promosso e sostenuto dal @comunediaosta

Il pioniere della street art @ozmone ha ideato una serie di opere murali, capaci di tradurre in linguaggio contemporaneo la complessità storica, geografica e culturale della città.

Il primo murale, sulla parete della Scuola Primaria “Giovanni Pezzoli”, riproduce la figura di Giano Bifronte, divinità tra le più antiche del culto pubblico romano, mentre il secondo sarà realizzato sul muro della Scuola Cerlogne, e riprodurrà la stele antropomorfa risalente al terzo millennio a.C., esposta in permanenza al @megamuseoaosta – Museo Archeologico Contemporaneo.

🔥 I am honored to be part of this extraordinary institutional project, #MuseumMurals, initiated by #mauritshuis and made possible by the VriendenLoterij. Together with Arnoud van Dommele (CEO of Mauritshuis) and Paola Cordone @pcordone (Cultural Attaché for Italy in Amsterdam), we unveiled the mural at the Roman Museum of Heerlen, inspired by the ancient Roman baths 🏛️ and depicting Venus, the goddess of beauty during her intimate bathing ritual 🛁.

This project involves 20 museums across the Netherlands, with 20 artists transforming museum collections into large-scale murals 🖼️, bringing art out into the streets for everyone to experience. It’s a unique opportunity to create a dialogue between contemporary art and historical heritage.
For me, it is a great honor to contribute to preserving historical memory through my artistic work ! 🎨
