I am blown away by the package I just received from @scout_of_washington I wasted no time making good use of the lick mat and Mom already put on the adorable bandanas. Since there were two I was generous and shared with Jack so we both look fabulous. Thank you so much for you kindness friend it means the world to us. by @ozzy_osbone

A short video of my progress. I am on the leash for potty breaks but Mom needed a quick video update for the vet so I was free for like 15 seconds. I still have a long way to go but believe it or not this is an improvement I was really bad before. Mom no longer has to hold me while I poop, I am a little more steady on my feet, I even tried to pee with my leg up for the 1st time in over a month even though that was unsuccessful. I'm just going to keep taking my meds and rest. This just takes a lot of time to heal and the vet was honest and said I may never be 100 percent. A lot of dogs usually get about 85 to 90 percent fully recovered. So we will see what happens. I might be one of the lucky ones that recover fully. Paws crossed by @ozzy_osbone

Today is my birthday and I'm 11! I'm still healing so I'm restricted from doing anything besides eating cake. So I want to live vicariously through you all. What are you doing fun today? All my fetch friends have a good game and think of me.

One way to my heart is food and yesterday I received a package with some yummy chicken treats but no idea who sent them. I hope I find out so I can give a proper thank you. It was a wonderful surprise and very tasty. I was even generous and shared a few with Jack. by @ozzy_osbone

What our life looks like these days. At least I have some great snuggle buddies. I'm still doing everything I need to do but I'm not improving very fast but the vet said that is normal. This could be a very slow recovery, talking months maybe. My birthday is next Monday and we are bummed we can't celebrate the way we usually do but Mom said I will be getting cake in bed so I'm looking forward to that. Thanks for all the love and well wishes. I have some of the best friends 🥰 by @ozzy_osbone

Hi friends. Have you missed me? I've missed all of you. Sorry for disappearing, but I'm going through a hard time. I ruptured a disc in my back, and for the past 18 days things have just been hard. My mom had cried a lot the 1st few days but is doing everything to get me through this. Right now I'm on 4 different medications and strict rest and limited moving, basically just to go to the bathroom. Since I can't jump mom and dad have put all the couch cushions on the ground and that is where they are staying with me. They tried keeping me in a crate all night but I CRIED the whole night and got so upset I pooped myself so that didn't work out. The vet is hopeful I will make a full recovery with meds and rest but in the end I might need surgery to repair the damage. I also had a bump on my leg tested and it's not good and needs to come off but the vet said my back is 1st priority then I get surgery for the bump. We won't know what exactly it is or if it has spread until it's removed so Mom really is hoping I make a recovery soon but my back can take weeks to months to heal so it's just really stressful time over here. I promise to catch up with you all soon. ❤️ by @ozzy_osbone
