It’s actually just a coincidence The Gulf of Mexico is a large body of water bordered by the United States, Mexico, and Cuba. Its eastern boundary is formed by Florida, while its northern coastline stretches across Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. The gulf connects to the Atlantic Ocean through the Straits of Florida. The unusual outline along Florida’s Gulf Coast can resemble the shape of Egypt when combined with straight lines drawn across the water. However, the resemblance is purely coincidental, with no geographical connection between the two regions. Egypt is actually located thousands of miles away in northeastern Africa.

BREAKING: South Carolina Sen. Darline Graham fell to her Democratic challenger, Dr. Annie Andrews, despite significant help from Trump and Republican campaign arms. ㅤ It's a major upset for the GOP in a state the party has dominated for decades. ㅤ And it's a loss for Trump after he personally ushered Graham into the special election for her late brother Lindsey Graham's Senate seat and boosted her over many local Republicans' consternation. ㅤ Read the latest out of election night at the link in our bio. 📸 Francis Chung/POLITICO
Photos by @joelsartore | Servals like this one I photographed @fortworthzoo are sometimes referred to as giraffe cats because of their unusually long necks and legs. They have the longest legs relative to their body size among any wild cat—an attribute that allows them to jump straight up about 10 feet (3 meters) into the air!
