Perspective shifts I didn’t know I needed 🥹

I’ve always been a huge lover of inspirational quotes. Something about a one-liner just sticks with me & they are always great reminders (& even reassurance at times) to fall back on! 😌

What is your favorite quote you always come back to?! 👇🏼

the amount of people thinking luc besson’s “dracula: a love tale” is a faithful adaptation of dracula by bram stoker is…incredibly disheartening. 🧛🫤🖤✨ let’s talk about it!!

from dracula to the phantom of the opera adaptations, why are we so obsessed with romanticizing the villain?

Snoop Dogg & Marvin Gaye — “What’s Going On”
Triller Fight Club (2021) 🙏

On September 11, 2021, Snoop Dogg paid tribute to the legendary Marvin Gaye at Triller Fight Club: Legends II.

The performance brought together Snoop Dogg and archival footage of Marvin Gaye, celebrating “What’s Going On,” the iconic song originally released in 1971.

A special tribute bringing two generations of music together and honoring Marvin Gaye’s timeless legacy.

The answer is YES. YES YOU ARE 😌

And you WILL be confused while reading MIST. It’s part of the experience 😂 The real question is whether the confusion excites you or frustrates you.

MIST is one of my top 5 danmei for a reason. There’s something so satisfying about a story that keeps you guessing, makes you question everything you think you understand, and reminds you just how much fun reading can be.

I’ve read this series twice now, and I would still recommend going in as blind as possible if you haven’t read the synopsis/summary. Trust me on this one 👀

If you enjoy stories that make you think and reward you for paying attention, MIST deserves a spot on your TBR.

Q: Have you read it? Did you understand the first arc, or did you simply accept that things were happening?

My last reread is still pretty fresh, so I’m not ready to revisit it just quite yet, but I am excited to personalize my physical copies in the future, maybe after the physical releases are all out.

Getting Roy out of our usual studio was rocky… but our next guest might just be worth the trip! 🍿👀
