Anyone that comes to this chat box and says “that’s not the only reason why your church is called a cult” okay… yeah but 10 outta 10 that’s the number 1 reason. If you disagree, kindly state in my comments why churches are called cults? A church that follows the principles of the Word, is called a cult because of the honor and respect for pastors and leaders aaaaand members! But you pretend to not see the members honor because head off you already got issues! And no doubt honor is shown in our defense against lousy and foul comments towards our leaders. And then, when you’re clapped back to your face, you say “CULT”. LOL I haven’t seen even churches that use symbols, candles, etc being called a cult as much as I’ve heard of churches whose members give honor where it’s due. And that’s facts on facts. Period!

The speaker touches briey on the issue when he said the issue is a lack of respect for leaders. Where I have an issue with this type of churches is, many of the members have no respect for leaders - they only respect the pastor. That is so wrong. I am a pastor myself and I say to people don't come to church and accord me respect that you don't give your parents at home. Don't come to church and give me respect that you dont give your husband at home, especially when the husband is even older or more eminent than me! Dont come to church and talk to me respectfully when you talk down on your wife. If the church is not preaching this and allowing their members to only respect the pastor, there is a problem.
