One of the biggest changes I made that completely transformed my progress was changing my nutrition. 🥑💗 We can spend hours in the gym, but what we do outside of the gym matters just as much! Prioritizing whole foods, eating balanced meals, getting enough protein, and consistently nourishing my body made such a difference in my results. It’s not about eating less, it’s about learning to eat BETTER! 🥗You don’t have to restrict yourself or have a perfect diet to see progress. Start by being more intentional with what you’re putting into your body and focus on building habits you can actually sustain. Your results aren’t just built in the gym, they’re built in the kitchen too! 💕 Save this for your reminder to fuel your body, not starve it. In honor of the "Girls" reboot, we’re taking a little trip back to Brooklyn circa 2012. We went into the archives to revisit the first "Girls" interview and shoot, one of @ChloeMalle’s first-ever articles for Vogue. She met the quartet at Allswell in Williamsburg, back in the day when all hipster restaurants had twee toile wallpaper. Tap the link in our bio to red the conversation with a 25-year-old @LenaDunham about the world of Girls. Photographed by Norman Jean Roy. Vogue, March 2012.
16 years ago, our Ithumba team found a young calf incarcerated in a drying dam. She was completely bogged in the mud and could have easily gone undiscovered. Today, that same elephant is living wild and a mother of two beautiful daughters. Ithumbah, as we named her, grew up in our care before reclaiming her place among Tsavo’s elephants. She gave birth to her first baby, Iman, in 2022. Iris followed last November. Although they are leading entirely wild lives, Ithumbah and her girls are regular visitors around Ithumba — these photos were taken just a few days ago. It’s such a privilege to be part of these elephants’ stories, from one rescued orphan to a whole family. — The fact that most of our ex-orphans continue to visit us, long after they have embraced their independence, shows just how powerful family bonds are in elephant society. Thank you for being part of that family. Your support makes these stories possible. Because of you, we are able to not only rescue orphans, but also commit upwards of a decade to their day-and-night care, until they are ready to return to the wild.
