⭐ RADICI E ALI /ROOTS & WINGS ⭐
Last summer the REPLACE project teamed up with @studio_miral to create Radici E ALi/Roots & Wings, exploring the stories of the people of Senerchia. Senerchia was badly hit by the 1980 Irpinia earthquake, which claimed at least 2483 lives, and left thousands more injured & homeless.
Despite the practical and economic challenges this heritage presents, Senerchia has a strong community identity, and we asked some member of the community what Senerchia meant to them, and what objects they feel represented their connection to Senerchia.
The result was an exhibition of objects, people and stories of Senerchia, along with a series of videos that captured these stories and gives us a sense of the place - the videos are on our youtube channel here - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCTUoZ2wKD5Pyhm2K2ER6sPQ
A big thank you @studio_miral for this wonderful video and to project Co-I @na.bornisa and local collaborator @carmine_sessa for for their precious contribution to the project!
