Tomorrow it's time for some radio time when I get to present my KIRITTÄJÄ-mix on Sonny's show on YleX 🔥🥳❤️

Although I'm probably more known as the promoter of melodic dance floor dnb there has always also been a special place in my heart for proper neuro funk blasting and this mix was now a perfect possibility to show off also that side of me! Hopefully you'll enjoy my 15 min power mix as much as I enjoyed making it! Tune in at YleX tomorrow at 8PM for Sonny's show, my mix will be at the end of the 2 hour show 🔥

My dad had a mental breakdown when I was a senior in high school. When I was a freshman in college, he spent a week in a psychiatric hospital. He spent much of his adult life with chronic depression.

And he was a son of God. A beloved son of God. He was a pastor. He was an amazing father.

When I received his study Bible after he passed four years ago, I opened the inside flap and it said, Depression Stoppers. Lined with scriptures he would read over himself every single day. Comment “depression stoppers” and I’ll DM you the list. 🤎

Calling is not built from your strengths alone. It is built from your wounds. From the things you survived. From the pain you walked through that nobody else could see.

Nothing is wasted. Not one generation of it. Not one hard night of it.

Im not sure if this is twin postpartum issues or what, but I’ve been struggling..have you ever been in a place where you know you have absolutely nothing to complain about in life, yet it feels so hard to get out of bed?

I keep hoping if I focus on the good, meditate, pray, remind myself how blessed I am… I’ll start feeling better.

And I really AM blessed. Doug is seriously so patient & loving & such an incredible father. Our kids are healthy, happy & thriving. I love this life. We are so blessed 🙏

So why do I want to sleep all day?? Getting out of bed feels like a marathon & my thoughts spiral. things I’d normally be excited about just feel exhausting🥱

Then our bathroom decided to grow mold…🫠

We hired someone for a $2,000 project that included fixing a leak & a few other things around the house. Once the walls were opened, we found water damage and mold. So now the room is closed off, the mold test was another $400, and we’re facing another bill for mold remediation…who knows how much that’ll cost?🤪

Not exactly the holiday shopping I had in mind🫣

Getting that moldreport felt like the last straw.😅

I started a new medication a few weeks ago & thought it was helping, but it made me even more anxious and irritable….soooo, I’m seeing my doctor tomorrow…

I don’t know if this is postpartum or depression & anxiety or what needs to change. I just know I don’t want to keep sinking while trying to convince myself I’m okay.🙏🙏🙏

I know it’s okay not to be okay. But also… it sucks when you’re in the midst of it. And sometimes I need to say that without immediately following it with a list of reasons I should be happy.

I’m sharing this while I’m still in it because maybe you love your life but don’t feel like yourself in it either?

Me too, girl. You’re not the only one💛

I’ve gotten through this before & I know I’ll get through it again. … and you will too girl!😅

Leaving this right here so I can come back and remind myself how far I’ve come one day 🤞
