DNB Finland's Christmas party is tonight but unfortunately I can't make it as was planned 😭 No worries though, the funderfull @pikutasu_ will take my place at the opening with @dj_riekko so be sure to be there early! AND that's not the only reason to hurry! If you're there early, you might get some of these amazing dnb gingerbreads made by yours truly 😏😍 Have fun little elves and party for me too! 🤩🥳🎄🎅

DnB Finland pikkujoulu 13.12. | Grotesk 🎁

Mizfire b2b Riekko – 2010s vs 2020s

Get ready for a unique B2B set where two DJs from different generations come together to celebrate the softer side of drum & bass.

Mizfire, behind the decks since 2013, brings a selection of smooth, soulful, and funky D&B from 2013–2015 — a time when liquid ruled, vocals soared, and the rhythm flowed with emotion.

Riekko, a fresh face from 2023, showcases the sound of the modern era 2023–2025 — deep, refined, and future-leaning liquid with jazzy textures, dreamy atmospheres, and subtle grooves.

Together, they create a flowing, elegant journey across two eras of D&B — blending classic warmth with fresh innovation, all while keeping the vibe light, uplifting, and danceable. This is not just b2b, it's a musical discussion between different generations.

Welcome to travel in time - both ways!

First of all, you can't go wrong with this line up and it will be awesome to see again many of these old friends I haven't seen in years! 🥳

Secondly, Liquicity is and has always been one of my absolute favourite labels and their parties and festival have been the best so it's an huge honour to be part of this 🤩

Thirdly, this event is SOLD OUT so the place will be ON FIRE!! 🔥🔥🔥

What else would one do when on a family trip other than dnb inspired cookies for @dnb_finland 's christmas party? 😆 Happy holidays everyone! 🎅

Two nights until DNB FINLAND's first own event and we're so exited! 🤩 There's a killer lineup consisting of DNB FINLAND board members and also DJ competition winner 🔥 there's gonna be everything: jungle, rollers, dancefloor dnb, deep and techy stuff and neurofunk so very versatile night ahead! Party starts at midnight between Sat and Sun and the schedule will be tight so get there early! My set time is 01:30-02:00 😍 Just to be on the face side it's good to get your tickets in advance from Tiketti: https://www.tiketti.fi/dnb-finland-ry-present-step-one-lepakkomies-helsinki-lippuja/100863

There's also a possibility to win some @subb1996 merch on the event's facebook page by inviting some friends to the event and commenting on the competition post so recommend doing that also! Some pretty darn cool stuff there as a price 🤩 Check it out here:

Different crews will have their merch also sold at the event so wear your shopping pants and again, get there early to secure your options! 😁

See you there at the dance floor! 🥳

Tomorrow it's time for some radio time when I get to present my KIRITTÄJÄ-mix on Sonny's show on YleX 🔥🥳❤️

Although I'm probably more known as the promoter of melodic dance floor dnb there has always also been a special place in my heart for proper neuro funk blasting and this mix was now a perfect possibility to show off also that side of me! Hopefully you'll enjoy my 15 min power mix as much as I enjoyed making it! Tune in at YleX tomorrow at 8PM for Sonny's show, my mix will be at the end of the 2 hour show 🔥

Huge thanks to everyone partying at my gig last Friday when I was supporting the legend Metrik! That night was definitely one for the books! Amazing sets from the support team Annika, Dønløw and Orion and of course the man of the night himself, Metrik! Was so great to see that this kind of dnb event was sold out and the vibe was pure fire from start to finish! 🔥🔥🔥

And thank you all who have sent lovely messages about my set, it has been so nice to hear this kind of feedback after a long break in gigs 😍🥰🔥❤️

Thank you @proteusharri and whole @livenationfi team for making this happen! ❤️

And all the love to the lineup @metrikmusic @annikaeveli @alludonlow and @juskawendland ❤️

Photo credit and big thanks also to @estraestraestra
and @ruditch for these amazing pics 🥰
