In my ongoing pursuit to enjoy smart lighting without talking to a smart speaker or using my phone, I’ve started hiding cheeky little buttons in useful places. This is a @kikkerland retro alarm clock that I modified, shoved a @shelly.iot i3 controller inside, and brought down to 24v so nothing explodes. When I’m ready to go to sleep, I hit the button and it turns off my lights. Bonus features include double tapping to toggle on/off my white noise machine, and long pressing to bring up some moody evening light. 💡⏰ #diy #iot
