As for birthday eats so far, I enjoyed my brunch at @dawnchicago with my cousins. Special shoutout to @lilrumsoak for the delightful kumquat gin gimlet he made just for me. I’m looking forward to diving deeper into their menu in the coming months. I wish I’d taken pictures of the appetizers, because they were delicious!

And tonight after the museum we worked up a good appetite. Again, I was too hungry to remember to take pictures of the appetizers, but @jadecourt_hydepark never disappoints. I’m trying to squeeze in as many meals as I can before they close at the end of the month. The mai tai was a perfect accompaniment to the spicy chili fish. Definitely gonna miss them when they’re gone. 😩
