After you design an efficient front splitter and dam, you need to control the air and properly evacuate it. Remember the splitter ramps (previous post) direct air to the wheel well. I reached out to @racelouvers and picked up their off the shelf wind tunnel tested fender vents. With all the added high pressure at the front running through the front grill and coolers, I had RaceLouvers cut a custom hood vent that I designed myself in CAD. This follows the lines of the OEM hood and radiator location. It’s always sketchy drilling through the 3,000$ factory carbon fiber hood. It came out awesome and you can SEE the under hood heat being sucked out (first pic) at speeds over 100mph.
