Donkey is one of the most beloved characters in DreamWorks’ Shrek franchise, voiced by Eddie Murphy. Introduced in the original 2001 film, Donkey is a relentlessly talkative, energetic, and loyal companion who befriends Shrek despite the ogre’s attempts to get rid of him. His nonstop jokes, singing, and inability to respect personal space make him a perfect contrast to Shrek’s grumpy personality. One surprising fact is that Donkey falls in love with a dragon, and they eventually have six hybrid children called Dronkeys, combining donkey and dragon features. Eddie Murphy’s energetic voice performance helped turn Donkey into one of animation’s most recognizable comic sidekicks. He’s also responsible for some of the franchise’s funniest moments, proving that sometimes the most annoying friend is also the one who will never abandon you. Like this content? The beautiful new documentary film KARL is streaming now. It was a huge honor to write original score for this film on the life & times of the iconic creative force Karl Lagerfeld. The 25 song soundtrack is up on my Bandcamp today as well as anywhere you listen. It’s my 11th solo album & lands somewhere between the sonic worlds of Windswept, Digital Rain & beyond. The soundtrack also features bonus tracks from Desire, Omar S, The Hacker & Chromatics. Enjoy the ride! Directed by Nick Hooker Based on the novel Paradise Now by William Middleton Musical Director & Vision by Michel GAUBERT

Jeff Nippard [@jeffnippard] entered 2026 expecting it to be the biggest year of his career. He had a $3 million research facility, millions of people watching his videos, and plans to create his best content yet. Then, in March, his fiancée Stephanie Buttermore died suddenly at 36 and after ten years together, Jeff was left trying to navigate a loss that changed everything, including his relationship with training and the work he had spent years building. In the months that followed, Jeff spoke honestly about struggling to find the motivation to work out again. He slowly began returning to the gym and making videos, including a 100-day transformation project with his brother that he had filmed before Stephanie’s death. His story isn’t about having everything figured out or moving on overnight. It’s about finding his way back to something he loves while carrying a loss that doesn’t simply disappear.
