For the Volume 2 of Project Edgecast I wanted to try something different, a more experimental take on the sound I like to play with. Ethereal, liminal and gloomy vibes merge together resulting in a slow pace mix which gives a meditative, reflective sensation aimed at taking a break from this fast life.
It was a pretty long journey to find the right tracks to create what I had in mind, I spent a lot of days wondering, deleting playlists, finding new artists, new music waves and exploring genres that I am not too familiar with.
As wise people say, the journey is more important than the destination, and I feel I’ve learned a lot about myself while creating this mix.
Unfortunately I don’t have too much time to dedicate to my music, because of this I like to see every new mix I drop as a checkpoint of my life.
What you will hear is pretty much the result of what’s going on in my mind since the beginning of the year, probably the only thing I’m looking for is a little bit of relaxation in the air to kick out the tension we can all feel now.
