Our film ‘All We Imagine as Light’ is in Competition for Palme D’ Or.
#Payalkapadia has conceived and executed this over 8 years. For every little colour/ fabric /cut / style / feel - she pursued and never gave up till we did it. They shot in storms , in shoe string budget, gruelling summer that set half the crew’s belly on fire! , dingy spaces , 20 hr shifts.
But she did not give up. She didn’t even give up when she had to stand in protest at FTII!

All u girls. And men too - this is to woman to look upto. And this is the trailer of what to expect.

This achievement is phenomenal for her , for all of us! India is proud :) and I am grateful and humbled to be able to witness the Premiere with my crew !
