Cap 105...loved the event...enjoyed planning the route and my first venture in to long distance cycling. I never made it back....I had to scratch at 970km...but I loved the fight and challenge to get there. My neck went at about 650kms and I just couldn't get back to Sheffield after Scar House Reservoir (where I came in on the awful track from the North...major rookie error!!!!). I have unfinished business...definitely will apply for APN25...oh and just picked my finish bag up today...last one...I've been knackered until last few days . When your really digging deep (cycling from Danby Beacon to DBC with 1 hand holding up chin...in to a headwind ...) I don't think you know how long the recovery will take. Loved every single km. Well done to everyone...especially Angus cap 106...brilliant effort mate...

Great big thank you to the team from @a.different.gear for organising the event from Cap 107. Really well organised and the homecoming welcome was very special ❤️ The event itself was brutal and beautiful in equal measure and a true test of grit and determination. My dynamo hub, lights and charger fitted by @a.different.gear never missed a beat and served me well. By far the toughest thing I have ever done and many lessons have been learned. Thank you so much for organising 😍

As a novice ultraendurance rider #cap64 felt the challenge of this event but knew there was someone dot watching for my welfare [email protected]. This is a proper northern challenge developed by the north for the north- until next year!

Just wanted to say thanks from cap 67, the event was amazing and brutal but that makes it special. And to those at @a.different.gear your organisation at the start and finish was amazing, even keeping the shop open for me to finish ❤ and the volunteers at the dales bike centre. The start with the food and coffee was just brilliant and made a fantastic atmosphere. I might even be back next year
